  1. Thanks! AppRadio2 is on order, just got my S3, have the Samsung adapter and car charger ready. Now to read up on rooting
  2. I'm new to Android and just got an S3. Does it neeed to be rooted in order to use ARLiberator?
  3. Hmm, odd, I too installed 5.1.1 on my iphone 4S but AppEx beta 2 is working fine. I do have the latest version of AppRadio+ installed as well, not sure if that makes a difference?
  4. Oh well, so much for that. I will continue to monitor my phone. For the record I'm using an iPhone 4S and the original AppRadio.
  5. What firmware are you running? I just updated to 5.1.1 and so far I've noticed my phone doesn't heat up anymore. I've only been using it for a week or so, but worth giving it a try.
  6. Mode 12, I programmed it exactly as listed in the first post of this thread. Not sure exactly what stopped working, as I haven't had a chance to troubleshoot. I know that I used to be able to here the setup clicking, but then the clicking just stopped.
  7. Thanks for confirming. What is the proper way to uninstall appradio Plus? Tried searching but couldn't find the answer.
  8. Just wanted to give my experience using the PAC TR7/relay method being discussed here. I too had this setup working with my AppRadio. While it worked flawlessly for a few weeks, out of nowhere it stopped working. Didn't have the time to troubleshoot what happened, but went to the switch bypass method for now until I have time to figure out what happened.
  9. I have one of the original versions of AppRadio+ installed, what would be the proper way to install the latest update? Do I simply extract and copy the files onto an sd card and proceed? Or do I need to uninstall my current version of appradio+ first, then do the most recent official Pioneer updates (boot & 2.56) and then install the latest AppRadio+?

  11. +100000! Take it from someone who's tried a relay and a Pac TR7. They both worked......for a short time. Save yourself money and aggravation, the switch is the best way.
  12. Wow looks interesting, can't wait to see how this turns out.

  14. Ah ok, thanks for the info Mike, can't wait to test it out!
  15. Hi Mike, thanks for the update, just installed it. Can you please explain the functionality of the TV Out feature, meaning what is it meant to do? I'm assuming I need to have the TVOut2 app installed as well?
  16. I tried the TR7 and it worked for a bit and then stopped working suddenly. Haven't had a chance to try reprogramming it again.
  17. Ok I think I get what you're saying. If you're playing music (radio/ipod) and then you launch the appradio app (or any other app, like motionx), then it will automatically cut off the sound. After your app launches double click on the appradio's physical home button. It will bring up a menu on the left hand side of the screen. Click on the top icon in that menu and the sound will come back on (radio or ipod). Alternatively, as ronsno mentioned, you can control ipod music through the motion X app on the iphone screen. Click on the blue music icon at the bottom.
  18. Which nav app are you using? I use MotionX and it only interrupts my music when I'm using voice guidance. It fades the music, gives the voice command and then music fades back in afterwards.
  19. http://itunes.apple....d434811742?mt=8 What's New in Version 1.5 Now compatible with additional Pioneer multimedia receivers. New App icon and user interface. Minor bug fixes.

  23. Here's a brief video by Sonic Electronix @ CES where you can see images of the compatible apps for Apple and Android: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JH9zgqowVc8 Below is the app list on the Pioneer site. From the video it looks like there's more apps than what's listed on the site. Also, wonder why Waze is supported for Android but not iOS.
