Alright people, let's start getting some info on how this works. Start posting videos of it working on your unit.

In an attempt to delete spam post from several topics, someone deleted the entire topics instead. I have restored all of these topics as far as I can tell but some may still be deleted. Please be very carefull when deleteing spam that you delete only the spam post and not the entire topic.

Try a full reset of the unit first.

Likely an iOS8 issue. Try deleting the profile from the previous phone and rebooting the new phone.

Did you reboot your phone? I am using an i5 with iOS8 without issue with the AR2.

Others have also reported success as well.

I'm using it with iOS8 on an i5 without issue.

I have had no issues at all with App Mode or Pandora. Everything works as expected.

With no jailbreak for iOS8, how's that gonna help?

The voice control for navi worked nearly flawlessly.

Apple has already announced Car Play and released it so there is nothing for them to further announce or release.

It still doesn't accomplish what AppEx is suppose to accomplish then it's not compatible.

Well sense it's not compatible with iOS7 the answer is no.

Well then they returned it. Kenwood removed VC the same year pioneer did for at least two series of units. Its likely they use a different software company then they did previously.

Pioneer removed voice command from their systems with the Z140 and on from there. Kenwood did the same thing sith their systems that same year so it is assumed the neither company was able to license the software to continue with voice command. Ironically, the same year Apple purchase the software company to developer Siri so this may be why you no longer see VC on either companies units.
