    Pioneer no doubt is in posession of the iOS8 beta so there shouldnt be ay issues by the time iOS8 is released.

    Guys can you clarify a little on the whole USB/Pandora thing? When I get my 4000 to take advatage of Car Play, I dont plan to use the Apple adapter/App Mode any longer. I do however want to avoid BT audio. Can the phone settings be set to USB or anything else to take advatage of audio over USB? Please only respond if you have tested this. Thanks.

    Yeah I would say try that. That way we can get a good idea if the wire actually needs to be grounded and if Pioneer actually did change the bypass scheme. Just be aware though. If this whole secret screen thing is by accident, they will likely fix it in the first update.

    At least up until this unit was released the brake wire had to be grounded along with other proceeders to properly achieve the bypass. It has been reported by a couple of people here that the hidden screen proceeded detailed here is all that's needed to achieve the bypass but I'm not sure I would trust that you won't have issues later. Be safe and ground the wire.

    Hoestly if you have to ask this question you should probably not be doing your own installs in any way. That being said you splice the wire to a ground wire. The back wire from the unit harness will suffice.

    The hack you are referring to is called App Radio Extensions and its not iOS7 compatible at this time. Other then that you should be good to go with the i4 and the App radio. Just make sure you have the 30 pin iPhone connection that comes with the AR2.
