same problem!! any answer yet?

i have it in a 2004 expedition with dual screens in the back seats. we can watch a dvd in the back and navi in the front . it might be possible if you have screens with head phone inputs , which mine have but the audio cables aren't connected to the screens.

connecting the blue wire from the f 90 harness did it for me. mine was professionally installed but the installer missed that wire. He tried 3 different antenna adapters but none changed anything. some where you should find a blue wire in your a4 wiring that isn't connected.

i tried to edit the files but it tells me i can't save it. what did i do wrong? i opened the voice_tts file on my sd and right clicked on info, clicked edit i get find ,replace,ect. the error says cannot createC:\documents and settings\owner\local settings\temp\temporary directory 4 for voice_tts-nua-eng-us-f1.zip\info.ini file when i try to save.

ok after 2 to many trips to the stereo shop to try to fix the problem, i decided to look for my self. there it was plain as day.the blue power antenna wire was not connected to the blue power antenna lead.I connected them together and there you go.

answered my own question....yes.... My "professional" installer didn't connect the power antenna wire to the power antenna wire, even though they were both blue...

anyone know if there is a power antenna wire in my 08 charger. I get horrible reception am and fm

i have a g1 but i always thought cupcake was some kind of chat or im program.... what else can it do? sorry i know it is off topic but i couldn't really find out about it on other forums so it is better to talk to someone who has it.

how about the f 90. i cant get it to work off of a disc

i had the same problem at first after i did the wire bypass after reading posts i found i had the wrong p brake wire.make sure it is the light green one. we don't think you are slow or anything but you could have grounded the wrong wire.Happened to the best of us oh also i don't know if it matters but i disconnected the speed sensor wire to.

forgot to mention... you will definitely want to get a new knob for your f 90.do a search for new knob to see pics. That is a sweet upgrade! Thanks again T!

I did gtimatt's map upgrade no regrets thanks for the sweet mod! my question is i put a divx movie in the player and it says unreadable format. any one know a fix for this?

nope, that didn't fix it the installer is going to try some different adapters to see if that works. any other ideas?

i have the same issue with my 08 charger. having an amplified antenna installed today.we will see if that fixes it

so do the 10hd and 20hd have the same problem? in my 08 charger i get no am and little fm.the antenna is connected correctly but i still get a bad signal. I am having an amplified antenna installed today but if that doesn't work i was going to go to hd radio. will i get a signal? i mean does it work through the regular antenna? thanks.

i have the f 90bt in the expedition(with dual monitors in the back) and it works great!! the kids can watch sponge bob and i can use navigation at the same time.you may have to turn the navi voice off or listen to the kids scream every time the navi voice breaks in. I did a comparison of the 90 and the 900 and the only real difference was the 90 has a preamp voltage of 4 volts and the 900 has 2.2. This only affects output to an amplifier. what about the wired remote plug on the back.? could you plug in a remote sensor and mount it and then use a remote? haven't tried it but i am considering it. I have a remote eye from a previous install. I may try and let you know the results.
