  1. Just a thought could be a canbus problem. I have a SEAT Leon, and it does not have an ignition wire, but switches on through the canbus system. My unit can take up to 45 sec to start sometimes. Most Leon owners run a separate ignition wire to operate their after market units. Koush

  6. I think the map updates are the same across the board, not just Pioneer. I had a Clarion, and when I log to Clarion map updates, it list 2013 q2 also. Koush

  10. You need a 2gb usb stick, connect it to usb1 of the unit. go to setting while in sat nav screen, scroll to the last screen and press the nav tool button, it will transfer the details of your unit to usb stick. take that stick to you computer and run the navi toolbox, it will update. once done, take the usb stick and reverse the process on your nex. 11. HI, Sorry to bring up an old post, I have looked on the manual for street names to be displayed, but can not find how to show all street names, I get a few, but still missing loads. Tekki said it was in the manual on how to do this, but I can find it, does anyone know? Thanks Koush
  12. HI, I am about to install my new unit next, can the Ipod Classic be connected to the unit through USB only, or do I need to also connect the 3.5mm jack like in the f920? Koush
  13. If you bought the item new, I would take it back as it looks like its faulty. If the heard reset is the as the F920, then it will be MODE+TRK. Koush

  18. When playing music with a HD or SSD, does it still show album art, and can you search by artist, album, genre, etc? Koush
  19. I think they are using iGo sat nav software because when you go through the menu for the sat nav its very similar to the Clarion I had which uses iGo and Alpine, who also use iGo. Also the icon for POI are very similar to the Clarion and Alpine. That just my theory, I could be wrong. Koush
  20. I like to know this also, but surely having a 120gb ipod classic would do the same job unless you don't like apple products, which is ok, some don't. Koush
  21. Hi, Have been able to connect the climate control display to the unit? and the parking sensors display? Koush
  22. I believe someone on here has already answer the second question, it to due with the firmware or software of your ipod that determines if this fault occurs. here it is; ***Solved**** Turns out it was the iPod, Here's the model info if anyone is interested: 5th Generation 80 gig software version 1.3 will start at the beginning after each ignition cycle although if connected to an AVIC-Z130bt works fine iPod classic 80 gig software version 1.1.2 works perfectly. Hope this helps. Koush
  23. Hi, Yeah just had a look, I can see Pioneer listed, but they don't list the new units yet. Maybe its too early and they are working on getting the new units setup. Koush
  24. Hi, From what I understand you need to register with Naviextra, then register your unit by downloading the Naviextra toolbox, then once the system knows what device you have it will give options of what you want to download, like updated maps, POI, etc. That what I had to do when I had a Clarion NX502. I don't know how you update the Pioneer units, with the Clarion, I used to take out the SD card and connect to my laptop with the Naviextra toolbar running, it would recognize it and offer the products available for my unit.
