  1. acid 467, Check previous posts. Go into the menu and reset 3d calibration. Good luck. Tommy T
  2. King I can recommend another site which might help with the wire issue. 12 volt .com has quite a lot of wire info especially about vss. In addition Pioneer website has all downloads for all manuals. T
  3. King, If your old radio had an auto volume control that increased your volume automatically with the speed of the truck tap into that wire. Unfortunately I do not recall the color of the wire but if you have the schematic perhaps it will tell you. In addition you might be able to do a search of vss on this site for further help. T

    gex10 with n5

I am thinking of upgrading to an n5. Will my old gex10 work with this unit?
  5. Hey Guys, The reset seems to have worked. Thanks for the tip.
  6. I have not had any issues in this respect. Perhaps a reset on the nav unit will help. Tom T
  7. Gave it a shot this afternoon I'll have to see if it works. Thanks for the tip. tommy t
  8. Could you elaborate on the car with green bars around it. Where did you find that screen? I find that my arrow sometimes does not face in the direction I am traveling.
  9. I know you said you have been checking ebay but keep checking. You will be able to find several N3 complete systems as well as N4 and N5's. It depends on what you are willing to pay and how patient you are willing to be. There are also a couple of reputable guys who refurbish units and sell them. T
  10. Solidforce, I actually occassionally experience the same problem after downloading and burning a 2009 copy of the East disc. I do not know if it is a fault of the burned disc or if I should connect the reverse wire from the wiring harness to the back up light on the vehicle. For me this is an intermittant problem which leads me to believe it is a disc problem but I do not know for sure. Does anybody have any insight to this? In addition does anybody know if there is a connection under the dash for the reverse wire from the unit to connect to? I have an 1999 Gmc Suburban. As always thank
  11. Did you try a reset of the AVIC unit?
  12. Mininova was court ordered to stop posting copyrighted data for downloading. It is now a mere shell of what it was. You might find it on another torrent site. If I was a little more savvy I would try to send you the file but I am not so sure I could do that. If I can I will post back.
  13. Just wanted to say thanks to Spyder for his mininova torrent. It is well thought out and easy to use. Thanks buddy! Tommy T.
  14. Hi everyone, Fairly new here but what a great source of information is on this site. I downloaded the torrent file and I was wondering before I burn it to a disc must I do anything else, ie is it compressed? Do I need to uncompress it? Do I burn it as a DVD or a Data disc? Any help would be appreciated. I have the 80mt disc so this is just a luxery to have the most updated disc available. Thanks, Tommy T
