updated: The problem is definitely TTS, I think I killed Samatha during the 3.0 upgrade but Jason still alive Another issue I found is when I hit the quick menu key on my F500BT, then go back to navigation. The map got stucked. I have to turn off the map screen and go back to the map to refresh the cursor. Does anyone has same issue? I copied the APL2 folder and updated the Easyrider.exe on my F500BT. New iGo works but there is no voice guidance. The navi setting has voice set to at least 80%. Anyone know how to get voice back? system sound is okay. I can hear the feedb

Great! I will try out your brilliant mod this week! Hopefully the quick menu button works as it is very useful. Does your mod contains half patches like Quick Map Changer and Road Block? Good point, I wish it can use as an uplink to like most other GPS. It is a lot easier to manage the data in the device when connected to a PC. Most other GPS works that way. So I guess no one can make the AVIC comes up as a storage device under Windows, right? thanks

Of the 140 downloads, anyone has success upgrade F500BT to 3.0 including the WinCE image? thanks Upgrading iGo alone is not very useful, and it break other functions. So far approximately 140 downloads with only 1 reported issue, and I think that may be cleared up...waiting on the person to respond. that sucks. I don't need the new features in 3.0 but I sure hope 2.06 contains the same performance tweaks as 3.0 since they are released at the same time and Pioneer justification to charge $60 is because of the new iGo. I hope the memory tweak show in the MOD forum is good enough... yes

Response time much quicker compared to 2.0 or 2.06?

This problem has been mentioned a few times and sounds like a confirmed bug. Not sure if there is a setting or patch to fix this. Another major bug of 3.0 is the Bluetooth discovery on startup but it shouldn't affect you since you only update the iGo.

What are APL2 and DATA folders for? Do you notice any difference after updated the two folders? thanks
