  1. which version of appradio app do you use? no, no springboard freezes yet but i have just used it for testing different navis. lasted only some minutes.
  2. anyone her using an ipod 4g with ios 6.1.5? some days ago i updated from 6.1.3 to 6.1.5. at the same time i updated the appradio app from appstore to 2.6.0. since that time it seems that my ipod can´t use the appradios GPS anymore. anyone else with the same problem?
  3. how should appradio do that when the navigation app is installed on the phone and not on the radio?!
  4. wrong questions, appradio can do it (with appex or arliberator) if the navigation software on your phone supports it and your phone is rooted/jailbroken
  5. i have the same problem when using the mirroring function of appradio extensions. do you use force mirroring or not?
  6. better try here: http://avic411.com/index.php?/forum/17-avic-s1/
  7. thanks for this answer even if i hoped for some better thanks for that. another reason for me to use my ipod only for music and stick to arliberator for the rest. i got two android phones with mhl and for sure i won´t buy an iphone 4s just to put it in my car as a media player edit: sorry, my post sounds like arliberator is better than appex. that was not what i wanted to say, both of them have different strengths. i have never been a fan of apple and i bought the ipod only for appradio and now i am a little bit *'§%&"
  8. seems like it is possible to update f900 to firmware v4, see http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/33866-update-f900bt-from-2009-to-4/ i don´t remember details of updating maps and firmware, because f900 is quite a long time ago but i´m sure you will find all needed information in the hacks/mods section
  9. why do you want the 3.0 firmware? newest maps of igo should work. you will need cracked ezrider.exe and testmode
  10. you need bluetooth and cable for android devices. cable doesn´t have to be the original pioneer, aftermarket or samsung hdmi adapter also works (but be carefull, s3 pin alignment is not the same as other android devices, so cable has to be for s3). and you have to use samsung based rom on your s3, roms with no samsung base, cyanogenmod and so on, do not support mhl.
  11. i have troubles with the following feature: my setup: iPod 4 with iOS 6.1.3, Appradio App 2.40, EppEx Beta 17 und Firmware 8.17 on my appradio 2 when forcing an app to mirror the app it does not fully start. 1st the device seems to start the app, but getting reeaaaaaallly slow, after some time the app closes and i´m on the ipod startscreen again Can please someone help with this problem?
  12. no, the aftermarket adapters are as good as the pioneer one
  13. some time ago i tried an older Version of igo primo (i think it was 2.1). it worked (with APPEX) without buying the appradio Support app from igo, the actual Versions seem to need the addon.
  14. The iPod is alwas connected with the original iPod/iPhone cable. The HTC is connected with a cable similar to this one: http://www.amazon.de/BestOfferBuy-Micro-Adapter-Kabel-Smartphone/dp/B00AAC87NU/ref=sr_1_40?s=ce-de&ie=UTF8&qid=1368604741&sr=1-40&keywords=mhl+adapter with an additional cigarette lighter plug mounted behind the dashboard (use an cigarette lighter plug with at least 1A, otherwise the device uses more power than the charger can charge). The Galaxy S3 Needs a different Adapter because it has a different PIN usage, i don´t know how it is with the S4. Meanwhi
  15. that´s right, arliberator runs very smooth and fast. my setup is HTC ONE X and iPod 4, both connected to my Appradio. With iPod/iPhone you get the original Appradio surface with optional displaying the iPod/iPhone surface. With android devices and Arliberator you get only the android surface. You have to decide for yourself which one you prefer. Biggest disadvantage of Arliberator is that it seems (for me, arliberator forum says it should work) that it can´t use the Appradios GPS receiver. When connecting my iPod i have good signal strenght immediately, with Android it is very poor,
  16. does that mean i have to install fw 8.30 even if i use an ipod 4 with ios 6.1.3 (with semiuntethered jailbreak)? some betas ago supported apps worked fine but no touch for unsupported apps (i know, it was a known bug). then there was one beta which worked perfect for me. then, for the last 2 betas, unsupported apps work fine BUT: supported apps are gone!! everyone else with that problem?
  17. i have already tried tomtom on my ipod with appradio. for some reason tomtom is the only navigation software which does not detect the external gps of the appradio
  18. i have a problem with the last 2 betas of appradio extensions. supported apps work very well but when i start unsupported apps screen calibration is totally f*!%&ed up. anyone else with the same problem?
  19. i´m thinking abour upgrading my ipod 4g from ios 5 to ios 6.x. which version of appradio extensions, appradio app do i need to get everything working?
  20. appradio extensions do not support the newest version of the appradio app at the moment. for an iphone with ios 5.x you need appradio app version 1.8.2. - i think a link to this version is somewhere in this thread - and latest appradio extension from cydia.
  21. i am using my appradio 2 with an ipod 4th generation and it works very well with iOS 5.1
