Congratulation Abb, very nice indeed with all those icons, I like it very much with the chrome theme, so I guess I will stick with it for a while (a long while). If it is not too late, I would suggest grouping the RETURN TO HOME, SPLIT INFO SCREEN, SPEEDOMETER together by moving the AV BUTTON. So when there is no GPS signal, this group of 3 icons will disappear from the screen at the same spot, which should make the layout better. Can't wait for it to come out ...

Just want to understand ... in your script within DATA.zip, don't you refer to the fonts to be used by their names? So how come our DATA.zip doesn't signal any error when the font is missing? Curious ... Also please: Can you tell me the list of font that you already tried and specify which is fixed width fonts (couple of postes up ...)? Thanks.

Abb, kind of strange, I don't have the font displayed on my HU as those screen shots shown in page 1 of this thread. You only add one TTF font in your mod, aren't you? Just look at the picture that I posted on page 3 ...

Yeah, you only has so much space on the internal flash card. If you want to store both map sets on the internal flash, you would have to be selective. For example, if you are living in New York or any eastern States, why bother to have California or Alaska, Hawaii maps on your HU? The same goes to the POI and 3D building files: just keep what you need is the rule of thumb!!! BTW, you can use one set of POI and 3D building files (or even DEM files) for both Navteq and TeleAtlas.

Good morning Abb, just another suggestion, please don't feel obligated to do it ... I love a lot the font that you used to show the current speed in the speedometer screen, with transparency. However, it becomes somehow irritating over time to see it blinking all the time when the speed changes. Any way to find an equivalent font in the fixed size system fonts, with transparency also? I am sure that you already search though ...

You got two compressed RAR files. Just double-click on part1 and extract, all files from both parts will be extracted to your computer. Sorry to say but if you don't even have this knowledge, I afraid that you will run into many problems during or after update. I would buy it from Pioneer and use their support to help you out instead. Just my two cents.

That is what I thought so it is logic that the parameter should be planned_road_future= (i.e. not visited yet), but with the night scheme GJ2.1_Night_sky2.ZIP, the planned route that I see in the AVIC HU is really black, so its RGB should be (0,0,0), but in the color.ini file, I got [planned_road_future = "",0,150,0], which is green. And how about [planned_road = "",0,200,0], that should also be green but can't see in the AVIC?

I also do see those parameters within the color.ini file, but can't associated the black planned route, which should be around RGB(0,0,0) to any of them.

Abb, a couple of things ... 1) The TURN RESTRICTION sign is always shown in the speedometer screen, without regard to the map display info setting in setup. 2) After pressing RETURN (usually upper left corner) from one of the function involked by the menu buttons (map screen), the display always return to the screen set by iGo8 and not the place where it was involked (the map screen in this case). I have a simple question: What is the parameter to modify to change the navigation color of the calculated route, within COLOR.INI or COLOR3D.INI? What is the different usage between the two files? Sometime the COLOR3D.INI is not present for a scheme. I am using GJ2.1_Night_sky2 scheme, very nice but the calculated route during navigation is BLACK, very hard to read, especially at night. Thank you for any help.
