is a ig car stereo place owned by sound advice. can i buy a d2 cage/trim piece from a store or is ebay my best bet?

so can i just buy a sleeve from tweeter and be all set for the install?

can i just buy a sleeve from tweeter? i have an 06 vw rabbit and i currently have a 2 single din kenwood units installed right now (flip out screen and separate dvd player). i am going to be installing the d3 on friday so i am trying to figure out what i will need. since my factory radio has already been replaced most of the wiring should not be too bad. Will i need a new harness going from the kenoowd to the pioneer or are they pretty much universal. one of my friends that has done car stereo is comng to help but i told him i would get all the parts and i do not want to seem completely cluele

you can record winamp vis with a program called fraps and then burn video dvds with the vis over the music you want. its a long process but it works.

do me a favor and load some the of the vw backgrounds i made in the gallery on the last page. take some pics and let me see what i have to look forard to.

Can you change the background on the D3? yes sir... page 66 in owners manual can change splash screen, nav screen, and av background with whatever pic you want.

willtel....not sure if you saw the background gallery but i posted a bunch of vw ones last week. i am getting a d3 installed in my rabbit next week.

3A185 works til feb 28th by the way I spoke to a guy at CF today and he said that the code will expire AT THE END OF THIS YEAR. I asked him to double check and he did -- The database states it will expire 12/31/07. Who told you guys that code expires 2/28? couponcabin.com

i just got back from tweeter and they refused to match crutchfield....they said they would only match places like best buy and circuit city. i was a little annoyed when ealier in the day they told me on the phone they would match crutchfield and i drove 25 minutes to the store only to find they didnt understand me.
