yeah i just recently started having the same problem, went about 2 years without any problems and just started happening recently. ive tried multiple ipods and that didnt fix it, i was wondering if it was the cable or loose connection or something but its weird that it works sometimes and then just cuts out. mines installed in an audi and if anyone here worked with those its not easy to remove the unit with the dash kit supplied. so replacing the cable or checking the connection is gonna be a PITA

just installed this yesterday finally, looks great. seems a little snappier than the last one. boot up seems a little longer though, but thats when its going right into navi. is there any way to disable all of the nag screens easily?

id be willing to test this out. i do have one question, i had to edit a file a little time back so that my timezone worked in oregon, have you heard of this? also is this file being overwritten with this mod. I am on your old mod currently, i just saw this thread and was going to try when i got home from work, but i have an original backup from my stock unit still and willing to test anything out you need. is this new mod quicker at all than the previous? i have a x910bt BTW

i love my unit modded, and i do have the newest maps on the older ezrider hacked, the only thing i DONT like about my unit is the slow startup speed. other than that everything works great for me

what are the latest maps? im already using the latest 2010 maps that i can find

what are the advantages of upgrading the ezrider file only?

i got them from navitotal, it really doesnt take to long to download all the files seperately, took me about an hour. i really havent noticed a change, but its just good to have newer maps, i just moved to a new area so i dont know what roads are there and arent. but my parents house which was built in 2003 now shows up in the maps, where are my previous maps said the address was not available. there are more accurate speed limits though.

i loaded the latest TA 2010.06 maps yesterday from a site similar to gpsunderground. the maps work great, i also have the latest navteq maps just to check them out later, however i had to delete a few maps and POIs in order for it to fit.

just copied your .bin file into my data.zip and replaced it in my x910bt and it works......THANKS A LOT!!!!!! i just moved from WA to OR and this was driving me CRAZY!!!!!

i tried today to use my front aux for the first time, stupid question maybe, but how do i set it to the front aux input?

someone was supposed to have given boris the files to play with and see what he and others could do....im really hoping this comes out soon, ive suggested donating some $$ to compensate whoever shares the files that actually paid for it, and for those willing to spend time to work on it for us......

any luck on this? any chance the rest of us be getting a nice pimped out version 4.0 soon with new maps? im willing to donate to whoever shares the files that they bought, and to whoever creates the hacks for us. cause of course were not willing to pay retail, but im sure whoever shares the files will get all there money back and more in form of donation by the many appreciative people on this forum

does anyone know if running the non msn version will make my unit perform faster? and if yes, my second question would be can i run the non msn version on my unit? its just been really sluggish lately and i want to do something to make it better, i dont want to return to stock, because it was faster when i was running no mods.

i have the exact same setup as you, and i have the pioneer ipod cable. its really annoying, i put music videos into a playlist, and the first one plays fine, but the rest dont play unless i wait like a minute or two, then press pause, then press play again, then wait another minute and it will eventually start playing. super annoying. the only difference is i have a 60gb ipod video

i do have it....youll have to wait a few days for me not to be lazy to up it somewhere, unless you have a personal FTP for me to upload it too.

i dont think anybody decides to not do the bypass....they just fail at the attempt....its not that hard man...people were clowning on me in here for asking stupid questions before i got any of my install parts, but once i got it all, it all made sense and was easy.....did you move the mute wire to the new location too?

no, i did both....and i did the hardware mod because its more proven....i didnt want to rely on a software mod.
