Yes. You need to hook up the blue and white wire. That turns on the amp. For the yellow wire, you need to do a search on "bypass". There is lots of info.

Make sure the wire is grounded good. If the metal is painted, then you need to sand it off. You want a good metal to metal contact

Touch screen does work on dvd menu When you get off course a little it will redirect your route. You have to go a couple miles off course before it ask you to put in the nav disk. As long as you stay in the limit of your East nav disk. or west
