  1. Glad you got it resolved. FYI, if you view the PDF version of the manual you can do a full text search to find what you're looking for and just read that section without having to print anything out.
  2. So after posting my reply I actual read your post and realized that's not going to do what you want. You definitely need an or operator to accomplish that. Perhaps our friendly neighborhood coder Boris will be able to chime in with the correct syntax?
  3. Yes please! Seriously, if you set this up it will go a long way towards making things more organized, and then we can link directly to them in each specific modification thread. The only thing I would ask is that this be a long term service. If it's going to disappear in 6 months, it's probably not worth the effort to make it happen. If you'll keep it up for a couple of years (the realistic lifespan of the F-Series), then I'm all for it.
  4. Who cut the factory harness off? I would never let them near my vehicle again.
  5. Should be pretty easy. Does it work for voice commands? If no, try a replacement mic, the one they include is crap. If yes, there is a problem with your phones bluetooth, or with the F-Series.
  6. Sounds like you're getting some noise in your RCA's because of their proximity to the electronics controlling the HVAC. Try rerouting them away from that as much as possible. This would be a good time to double check all of the connections you made, since you're also experiencing some weird things with your F-Series (as posted in your other thread).
  7. No, it's not a symptom of a correctly performed bypass (and I'm not sure why any wiring changes would cause that). If you're sure it's connected correctly though, it's time to send it back to Pioneer for warranty.
  8. Delete the phone from the F-Series and vice versa and try re-paring them. When the call is connected, what does your iPhone say if you select Audio Sources from the in call menu?
  9. I'm not sure what your budget is, but you should contact nexson, he will cost you a bit of money, but nowhere near what the OEM setup would be.
  10. This should have been posted in the classifieds section. I'm going to kill this topic, so repost it there if you want.
  11. Already posted here, and as we mentioned in that topic, it's related to the closure of their TV side of things so they can focus on audio. If anything, I think this will be a good thing for the auto AVN niche. I'm going to close this thread, so take it into the one I linked above if you want to keep the conversation going.
  12. So you've connected the headunit using the RCA preouts, or with speaker level connections?
  13. Have you reset the unit (by pushing the reset button, not just by power cycling it)?
  14. So you did the hardware bypass and you have done no software modifications to the unit?
  15. Weird, I've never seen that before. Like hondarider said, just push in on the multifunction knob to end an active call (or answer an incoming call).
  16. Was that MD changer solid in the US, or is it a JDM product?
  17. Easiest way to fix it is to read the manual, it's in there. Check the polarity of your speakers, especially if you did the install yourself. If one or two are reversed it can really wreak havoc on bass response.
  18. I agree, 3G is nice, but Pandora and AOL work fine on Edge (although they do take just a little longer to buffer).
  19. F90BT, your iPhone is functioning correctly if you can pair it with your Jawbone.
