    i take it personal when someone talk about my spelling i have trouble with spelling and ill let someone know i have trouble with it first and have disabilitys that i am working threw because not many wanted to teach me when i was younger but if they don;t know i cant say anything rude to them because its not right but now that you do know please don't talk about my spelling and gramar issues because it won't turn out good great at the end and why google just use yoru POI and find what you want and call them LOL

    i would still call the shop and let them know what was going on maybe they should refund some of your install labor cost since they only did part of the job

    #4 this is stupid i feature that does not let you use the dial pad when on a call for options and extensions and have to use the phone i called Pioneer a few days ago to see if there was any way around that and if it was a problem with my unit the settings or if it was built intot he firmware to be like that they told me that its supposed ot be like that when i said its stupid the guy mentioned well your not supposed to be using that when driving so the techs feel when desining the system and righting the firmware that that you need to be consitrating on the road and not punching in numb

    Ok i have looked but can't seem to find anything on it i know that from waht i have found there is no way to see on the screen if you are somewhere that you have no GPS Signal so i know go to navi settings and check out Connection status Menu now under GPS Settings i get its got like a cell phone bar tower that means how strong your signal is but what are the 2 next to it the Red Icon and Yellow Icon i asume those are satlite icons i think but what do they mean and does one always want to be stronger then the other ? thanks

    very good chances the installer did not hook up the Parking Brake properly and that is whats going on first thing in the AM i would call and notify them or better yet drive there and let them know you think they did not hook it up properly that way they cant tell you on the phone they have no time now

    Ok so i never really paid much attention to it before but wondering is it normal for the Ipod Iphone play list to go back to the beginning or top of the song lists ? guess what i am saying is if i click on one song then go out to the nai screan and i want to change it to a specific song i have to schroll all the way threw the play list or threw the songs starting back at the top is this normal ?

    another quick with the ipod i don't know if its just mind or what but i don't like how it takes me back to the begining top of my play list or what ever im listining to i can't just go right back to the song im listening to i have to start back at the top of the list

    glad to see you think this is funny i wish you only the same with your unit as i hope to get from mine but if yours turns out bad then maybe you will learn its better to spend a few more dollars then be cheap you ever taken the fast rout home thinking oh ill be better going this way and get a tiket and wonder if it would have happend if you went the slow way ? Cheaper is not always better sometimes its true you get what you pay for how do you know what you bought was A Quality and not B quality ?

    why because i don't F-ck up my gadgets i have 2 Alienware Laptops this is just an example i have 2 Sony Bravia TV's in the last 5 or so years one of the tvs lasted 4 years before it had anyting go wrong with it the other one is sitll working perfect 5 years latter 1 of the Alienware laptops has been replaced 3 times in the last 2 years and on top of that they have come out to fix it atleast 7 times before deicding to replace it the other one has worked perfect for the past 3 and half years no problems 2 cadillacs i own One has had no problem with anyting in the last 6 years of

    i paid the same price that one would have paid from walmart or amazon i paid 598 what i said was 699.and change after taxes and after the 4 year warranty and squar trade warrantys suck because if you have to have service yes they service but they only pay up to the amount the system cost you new not what it would cost to replace it so i could have spend 64 dollars on a 2 or 3 year warranty from square trade if i bought the item from one of there aproved dealers or ebay and it was new not used and if i had to send it in in a year from name and say something that would cost 350 to

    ah well if no one replys by today you can always call into Pioneer and ask them but yeah it should be backwards compatible i would think i know my Brother Has no problem using his Iphone 4s in his Lincoln that has the Synch Feature but thats factory different then the Parront Blue Tooth wich is what is build into the Pioneeer units i think you might also want to check Parrott blue tooth website and see if there are any right ups on Iphone 4s not compatible with there units because that is what is in our Pioneers from my understanding

    Best thing i can say is get the extended warranty on the phone that covers 2 years you can buy an apple care plan for like 40 bucks on ebay or 70 from apple cause i don't think its possible to stop the thing from charging only way to do that would be to get inside your cord that goes from the phone to the HU and see if you can figure out wich one of the many lines inside that cord are for charging the phone and then snip it that might work but i have never opened up a ipod cable before to see what the look like on he inside but other then that slicing open the ipod cable and seeing if th

    alot of times the speed sensor is located at the Cruise Control and alot of times there is also a speed sensor wire located in one of the harness's that go into the dash cluster something you could do is just stop in Best Buy and ask one of there mobil install ppl if they could look it up for you they have access to all of this stuff atleast they did for 3 of my cars that i had to find out where it was

    yeah but reputable seller and one year warranty may just be the inhouse warranty from who you bought it from what happens if in 2 months that company closes goes out of business or something if they are not an authorized dealer for pioneer then you a SOL and im never going to let anything like that happen to me not again i only buy from authorized dealers incase anything ever happens there is a auto sound shop about 20 minutes from me that has been in business for 15 years if they are selling the unit for a 100 bucks cheaper then someone that is an authorized dealer im still not buy

    you could plug your factory radio back in and snipp the wires 1 by 1 and see wich one is for the Ilumination dimmer but have some crimps and but connectors to put them back togethere unless you want to hard wire the metra into your car but this would be the last resort i would take this is another reason i choose to go with PAC over Metra much easier to use and on those rear ocasions that Metra is bad quality with the car like the GMOS06 sometimes does not work properly all the time but pac always does this is just why i choose pac might want to order a Pac harness and put it inplac

    wow 515 thats a good price but might as well spend the extra 85 and get it new from an authorized dealer walmart has them for 598 amazon has them for 599 Best buy will price match walmarts price of 598 thats where i got mine i saw the used ones going for 499 and i was not going to pay 100 less to buy it used and not even from a authorized dealer

    From what i understand the Orange white wire on the Pioneer harness is meant to be hooked when it is hooked up right when you turn the headlamp on your system should go to nite mode best thing i can say to do is if i you are not sure try and find the wire diagram for your car make and model and see what pin that wire on the metra each orange one goes into on the car harness then track down and see on the OEM main harness what that pin wire is for that might help you out there also check the connector see if that evne goes to anyting maybe one of the orange wires on the Metra uni
