  1. Is the 'official' West disc any different than the N5 disc that was downloaded a week or so ago? I believe the original one (which seems to work OK with my D3 BTW) is for the N5. Any differences?

    T-Mobile Dash

My Dash is running WM6.1 (has been since March) and still it wont pair with the Pioneer. Jetware is the answer.

    T-Mobile Dash

I have the D3, BT200 and the Dash - it is not natively compatible. Drove me nuts trying to find a way to get it to work but I finally did with a nifty little piece of software from Jetware (http://www.jetwaremobile.com/). It has a 30 day trial and a cheap purchase price but it was the only way I was able to get my Dash working. I believe Jetware will fix the incompatibilities that exist with all WM Smartphones and the D3.
  4. A good burner makes all the difference. I have an old NEC 3550A burner and I can't remember the last time it made a coaster.
  5. Sir, you and Infinkc officially ROCK!
  6. Agreed. People can be such morons sometimes. Sorry about that friend.
  7. That worked! Strangest thing that it needs the navigation disc to display XM pictures but hey, who am I to complain! Thanks.
  8. I pulled and replaced the dome lamp fuse and inexplicably my entire vehicles electrical reset ('07 Suzuki Grand Vitara) including the D3. Not a big deal (although strange) for the most part as everything reset just fine. I had to put my D3 settings back in as well but now my XM won't display the category or channel images. It still works but I kinda miss having the station banners being displayed, now it is just an empty white box. Any ideas on how to fix this?
  9. Mine is mounted in the far front passenger side corner of the dashboard and then covered with my "Dashy" dash mat. It disappears and works flawlessy.
  10. Works for music as well. I put nearly 2,000 songs (MP3/WMA mixed) on a DVD+R DL and the D3 plays them all. Nice having 8GB of music on one disc!
  11. I bought all my stuff at Crutchfield (bluetooth, PAC-SW1, D3, and an underseat subwoofer for) and took it to a local shop. They installed everything for $200. You gotta figure their guy only spent 3-4 hours on it and probably only got paid $15/hour. Do the math, they didn't make a killing but it kept their guy busy (who was going to get paid regardless) and they still make some money without having to deal with inventory or warranty issues.
  12. $750? Go to a different local car stereo shop, they should do it for $200 or so. I had mine done at Pacific Stereo in Fremont for that amount - same equipment.
  13. With the exception of the voice dial issue I think the Bluetooth module is awesome. Voices are clear both directions and the integration is superb. Best add-on yet.
  14. I have the Samsung T629 and am experiencing the very same situation. If I find a solution I'll be sure to pass it along.
  15. Agreed, my D3 has the March 2007 build date and the bypass went just fine.
  16. I hope I'm not over posting (put this request in another forum) but thought if the answer showed up it might be helpful for other GV owners who can't find the VSS wire (like me!)
  17. Anyone know where the VSS wire on a 2007 Suzuki Gand Vitara might be? It's hiding really well...
  18. I Have the BT200 installed along with my Samsung T629 and the sound is fantastic, both incoming and outgoing. I can't get the voice dial to work or the whole phone book transfer to work (just name-by-name) but other than that it's a sweet little device.
  19. My installer, Crutchfield and my Suzuki dealer all are stumped at the location of this elusive wire. I must now turn to the 'experts' here at Avic411, anyone know where this VSS wire my be hiding? I'd love to get my D3 hooked up correctly. My Grand Vitara is the luxury package with cruise control and AVC for the stock radio (if those details matter). TIA
  20. Confirmed. My D3 will play DVD+R DL DVD's stuffed with 8GB of music. I can keep over 2,000 songs on one DVD - Awesome player!
  21. Here's a fresh one: p0vtv-92rfh-frb27
  22. Scroll through? Doesn't the deck do any sort of categorization? By artist, title etc. I would think that if I burned a DVD with, say 30 folders of artists it would list the folders and then let me scroll through that particular one, right? Also, how fast does it read and display the track info once the DVD with MP3's is inserted?
  23. Thanks everyone for the input. Has anyone who actually owns a D3 tried this? THAT would be the definitive answer....
  24. I have a D3 on order from CF but have a lingering question they could not answer. Will the D3 play DVD+R DVD's? The books says DVD-R DVD's are supported. If so will it accept DVD+R DL? I'd love to be able to load up 8GB of MP3/WMA music on just one disc and have my whole collection of music with me all the time.
