i think places like best buy and circuit city the extended warranties are worth it.....there is no sort of trouble shooting with them generally if u bought a 4 year extended and say 3 years down the line pioneer comes out wit a shyt load of new upgrades to this d3 model if u take it in to best buy and say yeah im not sure what the problem is but it shuts off intermittently theyll either give u the new equivalent model or everything u paid for ur d3 towards the next step........but then again thats ur call

i have no idea about the alternate inputs but i am curious how u made a 500 gb 360 hd....i know u can take laptop harddrives and use them just have never heard of a 500 gb one

nah it doesnt include a remote and im also interested about disabling the clock....i never thought about it til now but i def have one right above the unit too

Yeah I have a D3 in my 03 TL-S I went to a nearby shop but if u go on Acurazine.com they have a guy i believe his name is "UnCald4" who has made alot of dash kits for our cars.....its also a really good site for other odds and ends for our cars

are there any other websites that offer screen protectors for the d3....i'm a little leery of the ones on ebay

i know im gonna get my balls broken but do the d2 and d3 have the same size screen....it only offers for the d2

the way that works is it always has the signal at the monitor in the rear...i dunno if the screens u put back there have the ability to turn on and off then yea u can have it off and as for running from ur composite out to the subs...itll sound terrible because the signal they put out is not the same as a sub preout....u'd actually have words and voice coming from ur subs....and thats not good...u need a sub output which the d3 also includes

aight sweet yeah im gonna have to invest in the 12 disc cuz its only like 30 bux more then the 6.....i also have the d3 installed in my 03 acura tl-s it was done at a shop in my area and if anyone has any questions on what it may look like in case they have an acura like that ill be happy to post pics

well that blows hahaha....so i take it that any pioneer cd or dvd changer will not work with this correct?? i mean fully integrated into the touchscreen...right

Does anyone know if the D3 is compatible with the 6 dvd changer....on the pioneer website it says its compatible with "Pioneer Navigation Products such as the z1,z2, and the d2" but it seems like it specifically leaves out the d3......but anywho does anyone know for a fact if these two items are compatible and if so can the changer use the nav discs that way they would always be accesible??
