1. HI Dave. The Volume controls for Nav and Phone calls are independent to the music volume. I find that annoying too. IF you get a steering wheel controller installed you can have it mapped to mute all volume or to a certain volume that you set, but its still clunky having all three having a sperate volume control. Its adjustable from the nav screen map if I'm not mistaken. I vaguely remember seeing the setting ability
2. I've mentioned this on a few threads: if you have a jailbroken ipad/iphone try displayout from the cydia store. It allows to output everything from the iphone/ipad to the screen. Then you can use tomtom, garmin, navigon etc on the pioneers screen. This will only display it on the head unit, but it wont allow for touch screen function. hope that helps
3. Did you check the polarity setting of the camera under the settings menu? It can be set to battery or ground.
4. Lol @Ncmudbug: Yeah I do them when I can, here's the latest Chrysler 300 design: http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/36-custom-background-gallery/page__st__1200
5. Here you go pthomas1984. I do these when I have some spare time. Let me know what you think. 6. Yup I found it. Actually Pioneer support told me even after I searched through the manual so many times. It has to have the mute setting set to ALL in order for it to happen. Pretty embarrassing to have a work related call with Ludacris playing in the background! ahaha Thanks for the heads up. For those who don't know its under HOME > SETTINGS > AV SETTINGS > Mute : then cycle through until it read all. You can also select what causes it to mute, eg phone calls, voice commands and guidance.
7. Hi All, I have the z140bh installed in my 2011 Outlander. I have an iphone 4S paired with it and all the features seem to work like importing contacts etc when I connect to the head unit via bluetooth. When I make a call, the radio or whatever music source is playing gets lowered but is still audible. So basically it doesnt pause or mute the source so I would have background music at about 5-10% the volume of the actual telephone call volume. Its pretty much like when ATT is activated from the steering wheel controls. Is there something I'm missing? The Z140BH has the Metra Axess steer

9.
Looks great! Now, if you could do something cool with a Mercedes Benz logo!
Sure... same style and background?
10. Just for reference I have a Z140BH and you do require to purchase the add on to get the touch screen functionality. I think its total BS, because it really doesn't give you much more. Seeing that full offline style GPS software like Garmin and Tom Tom are not much more expensive it seems like a bit of a cheap shot on Motion X's part. Of couse if you jailbreak your phone you can use any GPS program on the HU but without touch ability.
11. Hi Pcarhombre, Yes you can have google maps show up on the HU. First of all you need to install the Pioneer Appradio application on the iPhone. With that you will see what other software they have available for the advanced app mode. When you connect your iPhone via the CD-IU51V AV Cable and launch appradio, it will give you the touch screen to use google maps, INRIX, Motion X GPS (but you have to purchase the license to display to the HU). I personally prefer the look of Garmin's interface so I have a jailbroken iPhone 4S that is running the Displayout app from the Cydia store. It allows
12. Hi guys. I created this background splash screen for my Mitsubishi Outlander that has a Z140BH installed. The colours complement the red and orange lighting in the vehicle. Let me know what you think:
13. The best way is to have a jailbroken ipod touch or iphone and install and run displayout from Cydia. It will allow apps that don't do video out natively to display on the HU screen but without touch functionality. Basically it will mirror what is on your ipod/iphone and will allow to scale and resize. You will still have the side bar of icons that prompt options for EQ, sources etc so its not true full screen. Another annoyance is the pixel density is pretty crumby so it won't be anywhere near as good a quality as the iphone screen. Good thing about it is it rotates the screen with the acceler
