  1. The objects on the screen move at normal speeds. I tried this for example with angry birds. The objects of the screen tend to stutter but the iPhone screen is moving at normal speeds. One thing I keep noticing is that touch events are now absent in certain unsupported apps. For example, I used iheardradio with beta3. With beta7 and rc1 it no longer accepts touch events off the appradio2. Also with supported apps. Especially the pioneer supported google maps and intrix apps. Multitouch, pinch zoom is no longer possible. These two apps are inconsistent with touch input on appradio. The
  2. Sorry you are right, I meant to say iphone 4 with 5.1.1. Also I did some more testing. I used iheartradio on a regular basis with beta3. Now it does not pick up touches. Any app that requires a side swipe does not work, like the weather app when you are swiping over to the next city. Thank you very much for your hard work.
  3. I have an Appradio2 with an iphone 4, OS 4.1.1 With the beta3, Everything was working well as expected. When I upgraded to Beta7 and RC1. They both were about the same for me and caused the following issues: 1. When I open the Google Maps app (the Pioneer supported app), I was unable to drap the map using the touchscreen, unable to pinch zoom in or out. If it did work, there was a major delay 2. When I open any other supported map app (Waze or Intrix), I am unable to swipe, pinch zoom, or anything of the sort. When it does accosionally work, it is slow or there is a major
  4. If my iphone is not supported, I just hope my droid phone will always be supported. I will take a hit on one, but not both.
  5. Everything was working well with beta3 on my iphone4 with appradio2. The beta7 and rc1 have slowed things down to a crawl. Even the supported apps.
  6. Honestly I could care less which thread is on top. I just want more info on ANDROID as the OP suggested.
  7. Found it in the US itunes for $1.99: http://itunes.apple....d521039057?mt=8 Interestingly it says: "You must be at least 17 years old to download this app. Frequent/Intense Sexual Content or Nudity"
  8. Awesome. I will see if it's available in the US. I would love to use this on my iPhone, but really hoping for an ANDROID version soon.
  9. This whole scenario is ridiculous. The fact that they would even try to do something like that. After you purchased it.
  10. Anyone know if the same bypass timings work when the appradio2 is upgraded to firmware 8.17 from 8.15?
  11. You mentioned that updating the firmware disables the ebrake bypass. Do you mean if you update to firmware 8.17? What bypass are you using?
  12. I also wanted to confirm that the microbypass that I purchased above worked flawlessly. I am so glad I didn't get that TR7.
  13. Just noticed an update is available on the app store. Anyone notice any significant changes? It says it has an firmware update notification. I wonder if it will now nag you when an update is available.
  14. If this is real. Someone should be receiving one early next week. Hoping for a thorough review soon.
  15. Thanks for the confirmation. I just ordered one from that website. Such a simpler solution.
  16. If the negative terminal on the car battery is disconnected, does it erase the programmed memory of the TR7? WIll the TR7 unit need to be reprogrammed once the battery is reconnected?
  17. Nevermind, as I saw on the previous page, this unit works just fine. I see some people's concern that Pioneer may change their timings and thus make this unit useless, but I would think Pioneer has better things to do in trying to make this unit better.
  18. I was wondering if this product would work for the AppRadio2. It's a new addition to amazon and has no reviews as of yet: http://www.amazon.com/Override-Automatic-AppRadio2-SPH-DA100-APPRADIO/dp/B008NQL00W/ref=sr_1_8?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1343866416&sr=1-8
  19. I was also wondering the same thing. ANd if not, is there any work in progress to make one compatible with Appradio2? I read through the other thread on this and it seems it only applies to the original AR.
  20. Someone just answered this on another thread. Apparently you can mirror the droid phones on both the phone and the 8400bh as long as the proper selection is made in the Display Out settings. In this video the person apparently did not do that.
  21. When you mirror a jailbroken iphone onto the 8400bh screen, can you still be the display on the iphone screen as well? With the appradio2, I see the "display out" or "appradio extensions" screens on both the appradio2 and the iphone screen. In this video the iphone screen goes blank during mirroring with "display out". The reason I ask is because I was considering switching out my appradio2 for a 8400bh.
