  2. ok i got hold of 1 of the 180 in the us, if you run this disc in a non bypassable z2 it will upgrade old z2 software to new z2 software and make it bypassable

  4. Ok my rep confirmed that they have a software bypass, I cant say anymore then he agreed to bypass my bosses for a car show, I havent seen it work yet as soon as I can I will sneak and burn a copy of the software.

  8. the d3 only gives partial control unless the e brake is on, to do what you want bypass the unit, software designed so u dont mess with it while driving, check d3 bypass, it is very easy
  9. i tried this for a dealer preload, d3 does not have dual zone capibility, to play dvds while driving d3 must be bypassed d3 video output only shows nav source, used a z1 instead.
  10. the pioneer rep told us that the new tv tuner for pioneer set for late 2008 early 2009 is being designed to recieve digital signals via a diversity antenna, as i understood the am/fm would go through this antenna along with the uhf/vhf
  11. just so you know I sent in my n3 headunit for warranty repair with the bypass engaged anyone could tell the sticker was opened, they didnt care since the bypass was done correctly.

  13. i have been lookin at upgradin my n2 to an n3 with new brain and discs, did you do the simple switch under sticker and the ground, or was there nore involved, i cant live without my bypass
  14. heres what the pioneer rep said available soon i have to load upgrade disk into z1 then disk in z1 will give serial and ask for a cd key next I have to generate cd key via pioneer intranet that disk becomes only usable on that z1 unit 2.5 to 4 hours to update i work for a premier dealer supposed to be $250 plus labor
  15. we just got the bluetooth update for z1 it has made it so we cant bypass the z1 probably same software in z2 preventing bypass DO NOT INSTALL IF YOU HAVE BYPASSED Z1 Moderator edit: Look here, it just changes the bypass, now after the bypass you do this: http://www.sminntech.com/z1flash.html All Z1's are easily bypassable. I just hope we get the Z2 soon. Sorry about the "old news" bit but this was figured out in October/November of last year or so.
