StephenS
Here is the BC-2 on a trailblazer. Disregard the bike rack that is in the middle of the pic
NewShockerGuy
Looks good! How do you have it mounted? I see that pioneer supplies double sided tape but that just worries me as I feel some asshat would come by and try to rip it off... -Nigel
StephenS
It is just on with double back tape. If needed I could put a screw in there. Unless you really look for it you do not see it. I had one of my friends go back there and look for it and he did not notice it there. I have it back an inch or so behind the edge.
ThisIsTakeSome
hey i have a D3. and just got my camera hooked up. i got it off Ebay for like 45 bucks with shipping. not too shabby lookin. tell me what ya think
big-fokker
Looks nice! I think I'll give that one a try. How easy was the install?
ThisIsTakeSome
it didnt seem that hard to install, a friend of mine did most of the work, just took the lock out of my trunk, drilled the hole a little larger, wired it up, and screwed it on. the hardest part is gettin behind my d3, cuz i have to take my whole dash off to get back there. NewShockerGuy
ThisIsTakeSome, I see that it has IR LEDS.. how is it at night? Do you have to switch it to do night vision or is it automatic? Would it be too much trouble to ask for a night pic ? Looks good! I will post pics of my camera here in a couple days. getting it tomorrow. Thanks, -Nigel
openendstraight
The ND-BC2 is adjustable after you set it up. You can change the viewing angle in many directions. You can change the view to a birds eye and back to normal. There are a few other things a I am forgetting I am sure.
whtcrxghst
You are confusing the NDBC2 with the NDBC20PA. The BC2 doesn't do any of the things you mention The ND-BC2 is adjustable after you set it up. You can change the viewing angle in many directions. You can change the view to a birds eye and back to normal. There are a few other things a I am forgetting I am sure.
ThisIsTakeSome
heres 2 pics of the night vision i just took at 10:45pm or so. the close-up shows a lot of lines, you cant really see them just lookin at the screen though. and the grill on the left side of the picture, is about 10 ft away. oh, and theres no night switch. it adjusts by itself. NewShockerGuy
WOW!!! Thats bad ass ... seriously! I just got my crime stopper camera and thought it looked good but now I do wish I had night vision... I'll probably get pics up shortly after the install is done. -Nigel
propman07
Here is a comparison shot between two cameras that I have been testing out. The upper image is from the Pioneer ND-BC2. The lower image is from a BOYO VTL420. I'll have to see if I can grab some night images as well.
propman07
Those night images are a lot better than the ones I've got with the current back up camera that I have (BOYO VTL420)
propman07
...my bad...forgot the pic Brake lights used to illuminate my Wife's car. Without the brake lights, I couldn't see anything on the display.
