nav arrow side ways

Recommended Posts

You connect it to your vehicle's speed sensor wire.

To check if it's hooked up, go to the 3D calibration screen in the nav settings menu and if you drive the car, the number next to speed signal will go up with your speed.

Or another method, go to the nav map, hit the map button again, and select vehicle dynamics. A screen with some dials will pop up, the center one being a speedometer. It will show your speed if the VSS wire is hooked up. If the wire isn't hooked up, it will not register your speed and stay at zero.

You might want to try both methods, as I can't quite remember if the speedometer gauge also uses the GPS signal to get the speed reading.

The speedometer on the map works off of the GPS because I don't have my VSS wire hooked up and the speedo does work. I don't have any issues with which way my arrow points though.

Have you tried doing a reset on the calibration and maybe on the unit....??

I ran with my VSS unhooked for a while and had no issues

How do I reset the calibration?

At the menu that shows your calibration mode of simple hybrid or 3d hybrid.... there is a clear button next to it to press....
