Jascias
I want to enjoy free map roaming, but I can't stand these #$%^& boxes. I do not like them here or there, I do not like them Sam I Am.
lemonhead
I completely agree I freaking HATE them!!! That and the "cockpit" timers. That glitch makes absolutely no sense at all. No sense.

No sense. Cockpit timers......What's that? On second thought, don't tell me. I don't think I want to know.
HiFiSi
The blue boxes is such a little inconsequential thing, really... just a minor annoyance.
cranbers
Yeah but it is sloppy though non the less. Minor but none the less noticable. Kind of like a fly in your drink. Do you toss it or just take out the fly? Minor annoyance, really.
HiFiSi
No, I drink the fly. It's good for me... protein and stuff.
CamelTowing
Do you all really stare at the map screen that much when you are driving around an area you already know? Why not just switch to the A/V screen and not experience the obvious horror you receive when looking at empty boxes?
HiFiSi
^ pretty much... why do you need the map if you have no route programmed in? You obviously know where you are going at that point...
Guest astrobill
yeah...I agree with HiFiSi...it's okay that a whole bunch of embarrassing glitches from Pioneer's lab made it into expensive production electronics. Extra meaningless boxes on the nav screen? So what? No way to turn off certain beeps? Big deal? Major firmware update required even before release, which even then doesn't quite fix everything? What are you all complaining about??? ;O) lol
HiFiSi
Are you as bitchy in real life as you are on the internet?

Jascias
Well, for me it is a big deal. Sometimes when I'm in a new neighborhood and I'm looking at houses, I like to free roam and know if a street ends or not. Very handy for me. For me this is one of the reasons I use the map without a route programmed in. I'm not nick picking, you can't help if you don't like something. Many in here are hoping for fixes that bother them, and for me this is the one thing on the pioneer that bothers me the most. I can't force myself to like spinach, no matter how much I chug it down. CatchMeIfYouCan631
he is not being bitchy he is just being true. djhuab, ive been a part of this forum for a little over 2 months now, and since ive been here, ive never seen that crybaby bitch contribute one decent piece of information. all i see is his anti-pioneer remarks, and his immature shots at HiFiSi. so please dont try to defend him.
