drober30
Does anybody have a 06 Charger with the VSS wire hooked up? The C2R-CHY provides Accessory, Parking Brake, Reverse, Parking light and VSS outputs. Because the PAC module includes a VSS output does that mean I can have the AVIC Z1 hooked up to that? CHemi
Hey Drober - Yes, use the C2R-CHY, it provides everything you need and makes your life easier. Don't forget the steering wheel interfaces as well. A lot of wires to deal with but well worth it. Just installed the AVIC-Z1 in a 300C yesterday.
ricerocket21x
speed sense wire - dark green/ brown, should be at the pcm on the passenger kick panel, in the bottom plug 1 of the z1 plugs have a pink wire that should be hooked up to the vehicle's speed sense wire. i don't really understand ur pac module situation tho. drober30
These are two perfect answers! Because I need to know out of the two which one I can use? 1. Do I just attach the Z1 VSS wire to the PAC module and I'm good? 2. I need to attach the Z1 to the actual VSS wire on the PCM. My guess is that the PAC harness finds the VSS and I only need to attach the Z1 to the PAC. Thanks!
