humblehyper
I want to put my ipod cable in the glove compartment, what do I need to drill a hole? Also, can you guys show me how yours look like. Thanks much.
terron
you'll need a drill and a 5/8" drill bit; a paddle bit is a bad idea since it can make an ugly hole. drill it as far back as possible.
cranbers
lmao, what do I need to breath? What do I need to see? What do I need to drill a hole, why a drill bit and a drill of course. Sorry gotta give you crap for how you worded that question. Obviously your giong to have to make a hole that is a bit bigger then the RCA cable, big enough, obviously not the ipod dock connector. You need to use a normal drill bit, the rounded type, and everyone's glove box is diffnerent so saying i did this wont help, since the clearance areas are going to be different, what type of vehicle, have you checked behind the glove box to check clearance ? make sure your not aimlessly drilling holes and you dont wipeo ut something important. sorry but if your asking how to make a hole in your glove box, have to wonder how knowledgable you are on the common sense. djkid
Do you really even need to drill a hole? What kind of car do you have? Can't you just drop the glove box, run the cable over and close the glove box? Or are you actually wanting the cable to come out of the glove box when it's closed? Assaultdog0351
I've never needed to drill a hole to get usb in a glove box... just stick your hands in there and feed it through the top. ilike how its hardwired in the back so there no worries of it comming undone later on down the road. DL771
just wedge it through if there's an opening in the back big enough to feed it. it might be a tight fit, but it works. oh, and make sure you're not crushing the wires either.
