shafty023
I'm starting to wonder if Microsoft completely turned off Msn Direct in the Austin,TX area. It hasn't worked on my F900BT in months. Doesn't even show it has a signal, yet my FM stereo works just fine so I know its not the antenna. Any suggestions?
cranbers
Does it say your subscription is active in the status information? There may be a lapse in your subscription. That is if it worked fine before, but not it doesn't. Just varity it says active and not expired in the status, my guess that is the problem.
BorisM
In my experience., MSND tends to hose itself after a while, and needs a reset of the unit (hit the reset button) to start working...
mubbly
I really don't think I'll pay for MSND when my trial is up. What do y'all think of it?
BorisM
When it works it's useful. Depends very much on where you are, but here in Chicago (where we have highest gas prices in the country and heavy traffic) it is quite useful...
cranbers
microsoft direct is eh, not worth it. I think they should integrate the lifetime membership into the cost of the device, not 120 dollars either. If they want to get this service off the ground, 3 months is just not going to cut it. I used it so little, I forgot I even had it. It was handy in some instances though when a major wrecked happens, but its a bit too sensitive, and it will reroute you with no warning, and sometimes the information provided, like traffic jam wasn't accurate so you found yourself following the reroute when traffic wasn't all that bad. Movies, weather was ok, but prett worhtless when you work and live in two different states, md vs va. Not worth 120 lifetime or the quarterly, whatever it is. 20 dollare lifetime, perhaps but its just too expensive for what you get. Especailly when the service is this new, its going to die out before it takes off, good ole microsfot, they could afford to give it away for free, im sure pioneer or whoever paid them a lot to put the service in to stamp the ability on the box, why isn't that enough. Kirby692
Yeah gas in Chicago is horrible! At one point it was $1/gallon more than gas in West Michigan! Last weekend was only about $0.50 difference though. Glad to know that MSN Direct works well in Chicago though!
d12dirtydozen
but stopped working a week ago for no reason. my trial is good for another 2 months
humblehyper
I won't pay a dime! It doesn't work most of the time it say connecting and you have to constantly reset the unit to make it work again!!! Pioneer and MSN Direct needs to get their act together or they will lose a lot of customers!
