jwq
Just read that in Europe, Pioneer is expected to come out with a new harddisk series in about 2 months time.....
Borders
I have been waiting until CES to see if there is a new Z series. It appears there is not at this time. I guess it's time for me to order up a Z3! http://www.cesweb.org/awards/innovation ... ory=905095 George

On the other hand, you could wait 1 or 2 additional months...Personally, I'd be pretty fed up if just after I bought the old model, a new version came out....
CamelTowing
Where did you read that?
jwq
In a European forum... I fully expect that if they come out with a new harddisk series in Europe, they will also come with a new series for the American market.... But I guess we'll see soon enough. It's just that if I was in the market for a new unit now, I'd wait 1 or 2 months to be sure not to buy an outdated unit. Could be a rumour, but like I said, I'd be pissed if I just bought a Z3 and 1 month later a new improved series came out....
CamelTowing
Ya, guess we will find out in a few days
dawgbone
Hopefully it sports a 7"+ touchscreen and does not sport knobs... If I were to guess, a F series with a HDD... just speculation though
jwq
Hopefully it sports a 7"+ touchscreen and does not sport knobs... If I were to guess, a F series with a HDD... just speculation though I was told it would be a big improvement, and make people forget the F-series Anyway, guess we'll see soon enough... gartz666
Can you post a link to that forum?
jwq
Can you post a link to that forum? I could, but its in Dutch, and doesn't give you any additional info other then that the new series should be introduced in about 2 months time.....
Lucky_Bagota
Well ces is going on this week and pioneer's presentation is on thursday (tomorrow) so lets keep our fingers crossed they give us something decent. I mean i really don't think they would stay with the F-series as that was suppose to just replace the D-series.
djmixmac
I don't want it to be like the F-series at all. But then again, my Z3 is serving me very well so I won't upgrade but am very curious to see if Pioneer has improved at all after its F-series debacle .
Lucky_Bagota
I guess no new Z. just 2 new dd units and a F-series 2.0 (whatever that means just updated software i guess). Booo http://www.engadget.com/2009/01/08/pion ... d-head-un/
VBLUE42
F-series 2.0 (whatever that means just updated software i guess). Booo Same thing its meant for the last two months, nothing new, they just through it in there to advertise that the F series is now functional.
spolkyc
Just read that in Europe, Pioneer is expected to come out with a new harddisk series in about 2 months time..... That would be great and I will keep on the look out but if they really are going to release it in two months why wouldn't they at least have a mock up or video at the CES. They did that for the F-series. My guess is that is will be longer then two months if at all but I hope I am wrong.
