jwq
....but if they really are going to release it in two months why wouldn't they at least have a mock up or video at the CES. They did that for the F-series..... . Maybe they learned from that experience...
djmixmac
F-series IMHO is a huge step back wards. Pioneer should use this as a learning experience to improve their business model for upcoming new navi products. -Why did they release a product with so many known issues? Was there no beta testing phase of the product development? Common sense = thrown out the window. -Pioneer should seriously consider improving its Customer Relations Management (CRM). The callcenter is not very helpful and most of the reps are not knowledgable. -Use Navteq for its Mapping database.

CamelTowing
The dude I talked to in the booth said there are more navigation systems coming out this year. When I asked when, he said it was going to be quite a while. So I would guess two months is not correct

jwq
Did you read it in the same place that said it would be here in 2 months? Yes, so it's consistent.... january + 2 months = March/April ...

kroch33
i'm sorry. brain fart. would take a new version of the p-7800 and seperate garmin or new z series if gps directions were better than the f series. by the way, does the z-series tell you what side of the road your destination is on when you arrive?
