stereoinstaller1
I am doing the newest SWI-JACk tomorrow in a '04 540i on a 700BT. Sure hope it is the new revision...cause if it isn't, I am gonna find one and swap it out later. Will post results soon. Luke FYI, the SWI-JACK is not the correct part for a 700BT.Yeah, I misspoke. SWI-PS. We only have the old ones, as you would know. Luke
Chayse
Here are some pics of my new SWI-PS. You can see that there is a big Bluetooth logo on the front. It is version 1.6.7.
geckoth
Thanks for the pics, Chayse! Anyone know if this new unit has a quicker response than the old model? The old model can get frustrating to use when its response is finicky and slow

holmstj
Installed new version this weekend and works great with no lag. The only annoying thing about the AVIC is the KEY Beeps that occur when the volume from steering wheel control is pressed. Sure that there might be a hack for that-- key beeps on volume only? Had to use the 5900K Ohm resistor between interface and ground to use the 'MODE' button on my 08 civic.
