tbirdnny
Do you have the latest firmware? adamtaylorpcb
anyone?
CatchMeIfYouCan631
It sounds like a defective unit. If this problem only occurs with the iPod, and you tried multiple cables and iPods, all with the same problem, then the problem lies in the radio. Have you tried plugging it in from the front and using AV2?
adamtaylorpcb
ill give that a whirl, your talking about the 2.5mm jack in the front right?
CatchMeIfYouCan631
Yep. You'll probably have to have it repaired regardless, but in the meantime its an effective alternative if it works.
jrdiesel
Check the plug on the back of the deck. My bet is that one of the RCA input pins has pulled out slightly. Same thing that happened to me.

Same thing that happened to me. That is a possibility, but what are the odds of that happening with multiple cables like he said he tried?
jrdiesel
But it isn't the ipod "cable", it was the Pioneer harness with the white plug. For me anyways.
CatchMeIfYouCan631
Oh gotcha, didn't think of that. Definitely would be a possibility.

lseguy1
I have this same issue. Sometimes it occurs while listening (after about 8 songs in) or sometimes it occurs as son as the avic powers up. ONLY occurs with Ipod as the source. I've found that disconnecting the IPOD's USB connection for about 10 seconds, then reconnecting..solves the issue. I have to do this several times per week unfotunately. foggy
I have this issue aswell only with mine it's the left side drops out or is significantly lower than the right. I haven't changed any cables yet, I was going to take it to the place I got it fitted to check out the connections, I'll let you know how that goes. I have an iphone connected, again only happens with ipod connection.
