carlsbad0331
That's awesome. Only question I have is why can't this be done on the 700, 900, or 90? I dont get it either... I thought we had confirmed that the same software was used for all of the F series units. Oh well...
N-S-E-W
I don't see why it wouldn't load on the in-dash units. I followed the renaming and placing of the exe files as was explained earlier in this thread. Loaded the first time. Â I don't think I'll use it at all. Unless I did not do it right, I find it pretty useless. Others may have better results or have use of what's included. I'm just giving my opinion. Â I directed the IGO link to ezrider.exe and it connected but the map, menu and knob buttons were not operable. Often times when clicking on a program and exiting it, the next time I tried to open another program it would not initialize it saying the link could not be found. If I were to remove the SD card and put it back without exiting it would find the link. Some of the games require a gapi driver that's not on the unit, but there are about 40 others. Tried most of them for compatibility with no luck. Â The 800x480 theme would not load for me at all.

The 800x480 theme would not load for me at all.  Yeah, it's the same for me, buttons inoperable, although the 800 x 480 'Vista Ultimate' loaded no prob.  I would find this a great app. but only if I still had full functionality of the Avic - at the moment this isn't the case, but I'm delving deeper......

dumpystig
With the help on another forum from the guy that produced this, I got it working on my 500. I think it may be a good set of app.s to use, similar to having your Avic combined with a PDA. The only prob is that Bluetooth is now lost (hopefully only temporarily), both in MioPocket and in Avic, with and without MP loaded. I'm gona try sort my BT probs, and will post when I get a result, although I'm not sure if anyone else is all that interested in running MioPocket.

dumpystig
OK, here's the state of play right now. Â In MioPocket, when asked to provide executable path for iGo, intsead of ezrider.exe use MainMenu.exe This then loads iGO and you can access it from MioPocket main screen. It's a tad sluggish, but once back into iGO/Avic all the buttons work and the functionality is the same, at least as far as I have found up to now. Â BUT, there is a drawback in as far as totally wiping out Bluetooth from the Avic. I'm in the process of trying to sort that now, will let you know how it goes. Any ideas on this will be appreciated............
N-S-E-W
Thanks. I'll see happens next week. Which bluetooth version are you running? I'm running the one from the US update HW100-SW330 RC3
dumpystig
Mine was the same, but as I said it's totally gone from my 500 now, so I'm in the process of trying to re-install. Prob is I've not yet sussed where exactly it's disappeared from........ PFFFT
superman8262
im not sure how well this would work with our slow windows CE units, being that my freezes up every once in a while when I use the blue tooth phone. Â putting this program into the Avic units may not be a good idea. Like giving a math equation to a blonde, its gonna freeze up.
dumpystig
Last thing I'd think of giving a blonde is a math equation.......... Â But on a serious note, after using MioPocket for a short time I must admit it's something I would like to use, so I'm gona try and get it working with my 500 and Bluetooth. Don't forget, Avic/Navi and MP will be running side by side and not together. Well, they will be running together, but only one will be in use at any time, not both, if you get my drift............? superman8262
now im starting to feel like a blonde with an equation. but i think i follow you, kinda like having multiple windows minimized when watching porn, the two windows are running together but your only using one to watch the performance. Â If you can make it work and integrate it flawlessly, then awesome. but it would be a pain in the as if it requires reset or test mode to boot into it. but yeah, it would be tight.
dumpystig
It does require testmode (MioPocket, not Pioneer) to boot via SDC, but for me that's not a prob, I only use my headunit/cd changer for audio so SDC slot being taken up isn't a hassle. At the moment I know there's a few hurdles to overcome, but I'm gona try and get this fully working. Wish me luck........ Â BTW the guy that built this MioPocket is awesome, you should have a peek at the forum, you'd be amazed
dumpystig
OK, I'm not yet knowledgable enough to sort this out on my own so I could do with some help.  I install MP on my 500, MP then prompts me to choose an executable for the path to iGo. From the displayed list in MyFlashDisk I first tried APL/ezrider.exe but that didn't work so I tried others. The one that finally seemed to do the job was APL/MainMenu.exe. The buttons/menus/maps etc. all seem to work as they should (albeit a little slow), so happy days. Only it's not happy days, coz I can't get BT to work, and when I go into Avic > Phone Settings it informs me: Bluetooth Software Update > Version: > Not Found. So somehow BT has not been installed. At first I thought I would have to re-install BT back to Avic, but when I uninstalled MP from my 500 I saw the BT had returned. So I figure that BT had not disappeared in the first place, MP was simply not loading it, or was stopping it loading.  So I need help with getting either iGo or MP to load BT, either at or immediately after boot-up. Anyone that can point me in the right direction please feel free do so, I'm all ears/eyes.   Thanks  Edit: Would anything regarding a Registry be of any use????? dumpystig
OK, so I've figured out inserting >MyFlashDisk/APL/Tel.exe< into >MP/MyApps/Progs< and BT now works but only when launched from >MP/MyApps/Tel<. In >Avic/Phone Settings/Version< it says 'Not Found'. So I now know BT is accesible, but how do I get it to run as it should, from start-up, ie: as it would normally on the Avic when it boots, and once again be functional in Avic operation - without having to revert back to MP and launch it from there?
