Differences between an Avic Z2 and a Avic Z3?

Might be a newb question but I'm kind've a newb.

 

My buddy wants to sell me his brand new Avic Z2 for $550. Seems like a good deal, but want to know the differences between the models.

Basically, the hardware of the Z1, Z2 and Z3 is identical, and any Z1 or Z2 can be updated to the latest level of the Z3.

I would actually talk to garrett on here...i just bought his update and the transaction was amazingly smooth...his option is definitely better than going the pioneer route in my opinion

it is definitely -slower- on the Z3 at least in my experience. How much longer? I never timed it exactly but it's easily 10 seconds longer maybe(?)

I completely disagree with Matt23. 10 seconds is a really long time. Z1, Z2, and Z3 all take about the same time to boot (give or take 1-3 seconds). A 5400 rpm drive does speed the boot time by a couple of seconds...
