Avic Emulator for Linux and Mac Download LinuxEM.rar rar contains rpm to install the emulator under crossover Linux or crossover Mac shell script to start the emulator once installed edit the path of the D: drive in the wine bottle. Change this to the location of your flash disk backup and alter the location in the scrit for the /shared folder I have a few scripts on my system so my d: drive points to the directory above "my flash disk" I have a number of flash disks. IE ones for the OEM setup, IDT's mod, Diftas Mod, Jorgen Skin, and My skin (under development) This allows me to quickly compare and move data between data.zips ect. Please ignore the green arrows as this is the Simulate for the GPS. Also the Fuel Calc, AutoKarta and Max Speed are not in the update as I am still working on them. Once they are ready I will release a new update file Notes: Add the V3UPDATE01 before adding this update. I am not sure you are aware, but after i did the initial update V3.1 i lost my TTS audio but funny enough the system was muting for announcements. Selected a non TTS and it was ok. Are there still glitches with the audio that may need to be smoothed over? Ew...one thing i didnt do was delete saved data on the AVIC...Which file to we delete again?? Can you explain more about your Audio issue so i can track it down for you as audio functions seem fine on my units The only Audio related issue I know of atm is the with the speedcam beep disable. This is conflicting with the advanced speedcam Always delete the USER/UserData/iGo/save folder. Don't Worry it will be recreated on startup. If you dont any settings saved in the files will not update and can cause problems with new data.zip', sys.txt settings ect Advanced Speedcam screen shots You will find this under Settings/Warmings/Enable Speed Camera (Custom Tool Icon) Settings for Each Type (Off, Alarm, Warning, Reminder) Click Icon to Enable/Disable on screen display Settings for Each Type (Off, Alarm, Warning, Reminder) Click Icon to Enable/Disable on screen display Cheers 34by151 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
34by151 Posted January 14, 2010 Author Report Share Posted January 14, 2010 I have finished the Avic Backup option in the run menu see below Click on "Backup To Storage Card" This will copy all the files from "My Flash Disk" to "Storage Card\Backup" This will only run if you have a valid SD card inserted If "Storage Card\Backup" does not exist it will be created for you If "Storage Card\Backup" does exist it will overwrite all the files in "Storage Card\Backup". It will not delete the files in the directory first. Later on I will add an option to the script to ask if you want to delete the files first I will put this in with the data.zip release for the Max Speed. It did playback any my preset TTS voice once but i selected a non TTS and it was ok....go back to my TTS voice again and it was ok... Its just that the square buttons are not something that really appeal to me all that much. The rest of Dafitas mod is awesome. I love it.
