elrao Posted January 10, 2010 Report Share Posted January 10, 2010 I only just noticed that Pioneer had brought out a new firmware, v3.020200, in early December. However this firmware is for AVIC-F700BT and AVIC-F900BT which are updated with CNSD-100FM. My understanding is that the CNSD thing is the legit v3 update? Anyone know if the 3.020200 update works on F900BTs that are running the other v3 firmware? Think I am on 3.0001 or something like that (a very early v3). Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Hube2002 Posted January 12, 2010 Report Share Posted January 12, 2010 yes, use only the second sd card and it works flawlessly. if you use first card it asks for pass code from pioneer. just update by booting from second sd card and then use tutorial for getting 2009.6 maps and you are as up to date as possible (i think) worked for me. i goggled pioneer cnsd.... torrent found a link for cnsd.... torrent and downloaded via utorrent and i had no problems at all. i owe all to Diaftia and i am no expert but i tried for days to get to 3.02.... and this is the only thing that was as easy as a factory firmware (do it all for you) solution without paying. if you think tihs is misinformation i apologize but it worked for me as soon as i skipped first sd and booted directly from 2nd. So if what your saying is true I can boot with the second disk first and this will update my unit to 3.02?? I currently have 2.0 installed as of now. Probably because it thinks the head unit is an X series now. Not a problem, I just copied the files manually, installed hacked ezrider.exe (so I can use my 2009 maps) and Diaftas mod and it seems to be working ok. One thing I noticed though was this upgrade seems to have a newer version of wince on it. How do I upgrade wince? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
