DoDouble
I was tooling around with my F90BT and found a live speed read out under the satellite info/strength panel. Is there any place on the Z120BT that will give a real time read of the speed of the vehicle? I would like to verify my speedometer changes. Thanks!
VBLUE42
Yes. Under connection status in the navi settings.

random1
Yes. Under connection status in the navi settings. I have a speed pulse readout there, and some other info - Illumination, pkg brake, etc., but no speed readout. This is on a Z120BT.
VBLUE42
Then your VSS wire is not connected.
random1
Then your VSS wire is not connected. Hmmm. What is speedpulse then? That generates numbers while moving, 0 while stationary. I had a professional install, which is why I don't know one way or the other. It's only been a week or so, so I'll definitely go back to have it connected.
VBLUE42
Well I guess I stand corrected then. The speed read out may be on another navi settings screen. Its been a while so I cant remember.
JasonH
The speed readout is in the top left corner in the 3D calibration status menu.
wxman13
On my 120Bt the speed reading is on the 3d calibration page.
random1
On my 120Bt the speed reading is on the 3d calibration page. Didn't see it there either. Really odd!

Not just the speedpulse number?
mswscco
Speed shows on the 3D calibration page, but you can't access that page while the vehicle is moving. When your speed is zero, you can go the page and your speed will show once you start moving again. But if you exit the page you won't be able to see it until your next stop. I'm guessing that doesn't apply when the bypass is installed?
VBLUE42
I'm guessing that doesn't apply when the bypass is installed? That is correct. You can access any page while in motion if you have performed the bypass.
