BigLou58
No, just install ALL the files even if they look the same and afterwards delete your 'user data' which is a must Taking the plunge this weekend - look for some coin from me next week.
hanibal
I set up my smart zoom to show a little of the skyline but every time my unit restarts the changes go back to stock? It does'nt save?
69sixpackbee
Open up your sys.txt file and put this into the [iNTERFACE] section: defaulttilt3d=8300 And adjust this number till you get your best horizon view.So it should look something like so: [interface] skin="ui_pioneer" default_day_color="COLORSCHEME~Pioneer Blue Day" default_night_color="COLORSCHEME~Pioneer Blue Night" tmc_events_icon_set="$tmc2.spr" small_tmc_events_icon_set="$smalltmc2.spr" show_kml_type=0 mapfontscale=200 show_exit=1 defaultzoom2d=1000 defaultzoom3d=1000 defaulttilt3d=8300 You can play with all of the defaults to your liking. braddman
Hello, this looks lika an awesome mod, but I have a question. I upgraded to 3.1 with the FX mod but I am having errors with it. What happens if I try to use your mod with the 3.1 firmware? Should I reflash to 3.0?
braddman
Also, do we leave the scheme files zipped?
abb1
First of all, take care of any problems you are having with the FX3.1. My mod will work with any firmware version 3.0 and higher. Yes, leave the schemes in their zipped format.
mgalexa
Abb, Great Mod as usual. You've spoiled us, we have come to expect nothing but the best.

Yes, leave the schemes in their zipped format. Agreed, although I'm not sure what could be causing those problems with it not loading files.

abb1
But why do we have to do this abb1? why does it not save and resorts to default? You are probably not going to like the answer just as Chuck didn't several months ago. The smartzoom settings were set in Diaftias original mod and they were not touched since. The Smartzoom feature was something that was no longer in demand after firmware 2.0. It Is really something that is not used much and therefore not updated much. I have never used this feature nor have I needed it. I have left my V2.75 download open as that is more geared towards smartzoom.
