Kurto2021
http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/Accessories/Map-Upgrades/CNSD-350FM it says x910 but I figured it would work with the 920 and 930 models so I called.....they confirmed it. So who is going to buy them?
giggitygoo123
Not for $120. If I could get it for $20 I might think about it, otherwise it's getting pirated.
Kurto2021
I'd probably do it for 60 but I do agree 120 is too high
ncmudbug
$120 is expensive but a lot less expensive than what some car manufacturer's map upgrades go for. For example the update for the 2011 Mazda 6 goes for $199.
ThumperPup
the upgrade in my OEM navi from Cadillac was 219 i think 120 is good but i have not been to there site to check it out does that include firmware updates or is it just map and map only
ThumperPup
also it looks like thats TOM TOM so is that what they are using instead of the navteq ? im confused i thought they switched to Nav tech but they use tom tom ? whats up with that
ma_ttcald
Bogus if it's still using Tom tom after they switched to nav tech on the x940. I want an tech for my x920. Come on pioneer get with it.
VBLUE42
http://www.pioneerel...ades/CNSD-350FM it says x910 but I figured it would work with the 920 and 930 models so I called.....they confirmed it. So who is going to buy them? This will NOT!!! work on the second gen X series which includes the 920/930/940. That is why you see a reference to TomTom sense TeleAtlas is owned by TomTom. You need to stop listining to Pioneer. That is why this forum is here, because the people on the phone at Pioneer don't know anything about Pioneer products.
Kurto2021
LOL VBlue.....imagine how pissed I would have been with that
ma_ttcald
Do you work for pioneer? Good golly how do you know this? Asking vblue. I'd be mad if I were to purchase something that wasn't compatible to my device.
VBLUE42
I certainly do not work for Pioneer.
mdman
i have the 940bt and thought it already had the 2012 maps on it already?
ma_ttcald
i have the 940bt and thought it already had the 2012 maps on it already? It uses a new nav tech mapping system which I want on mine.
VBLUE42
i have the 940bt and thought it already had the 2012 maps on it already? You have the latest you are going to get for at least a year. And the maps that come on the unit when you get it are always at least a year behind. This thread is about getting the 940 upgrade for their older units and the hope that this was it.
DNGS403
Well they are here!!!! But for $120.00.
