bobmun
try here http://www.sminntech.com/z1flash.html#bluetooth (search took about 5 seconds)
Jeagle82
Yeah, you can go to that link and burn the CD yourself, or you can just call Pioneer's customer service, tell them that you have a Z1 with the ND-BT1 and are getting a big echo problem, and they will send the cd to you via UPS immediately (got mine 5 days after I called). coocho
I dont know why coochos always have to lie for about searching prior to posting. Maybe so we dont flame them or something.
jaspercc
Ops..got me..But I did search. Tried "Bluetooth echo patch cd"....etc. You guys are good. Thanks again.
fg2k20z306
yea i just got mine from pioneer today.. i had no problems with the 99% thingy and also.. they said it was like a 7 minute process.. it went by pretty quick.. lol
ducatiboy
If you get it from pioneer directly you won't get the 99% problem. I'm pretty sure that was from people who downloaded the disk and burned but had a bad burn.
fg2k20z306
^^^ yea what you said.. actually that bluetooth echo fix.. doesnt fully fix everything i test it out when i was talkin to people on the phone they say its way better than before, but theres echo here and there and it isnt severe has how it was.. they said the echo use to be like every time they talk, but now its once in a while.. thats a total plus.. everyone should get it done. brikkman1
so I assume this is fixed in the z2 with the nd-bt1?
whtcrxghst
Yes, the Z2 already has the update on the HD out of the box  so I assume this is fixed in the z2 with the nd-bt1?
jaspercc
When I first installed the BT, the echo was bad, after I update it and turn down the volumn of the phone, everything is working fine.
350zx6r
When I first installed the BT, the echo was bad, after I update it and turn down the volumn of the phone, everything is working fine. Oh. So we should lower the volume on the phone as well? I thought it was just on the avic unit. Im going to give the update a try and im going to try these steps. Thanks everyone.
