Hyperite
Well, all we need to do is get an image of a Z2 (or Z1) that's been updated and figure out which files changed from the original Z2. Remember, the serial number is in the hardware, the upgrade is on the software. So if you upgrade a drive in one unit, it should work fine in another.

shotgun_customs
I talked to my supplier today and asked them to look at their Z2's in stock to see if any of them had the yellow bar code. None of them did, but they received them two weeks ago.

whtcrxghst
The Z2s with yellow stickers arrived at our distributor today. Probably be a day or two before I can get my hands on one and physically verify that it works

rjedlich
if indeed this rumor is true, which does sound feasible given the confirmation on label changes, then this is a boat of good news! Between work and other home projects, cracking the Z2 has taken back seat for me... As to the serial# and call in registration, once the details get out I am sure some (?) will find a "keygen" to produce the matching reg codes for a generic ISO... and if not, I guess I will be dishing out $250 for an update... Anxious to see some confirmed updates on this topic! Cheers
