I spent over an hour talking to a bunch of idiots at Pioneer that didn't have a clue what they were talking about. How did you find that? whtcrxghst Posted August 22, 2007 Report Share Posted August 22, 2007 You can zoom in and get way more detail, like the outlines of buildings, the stadiums look like stadiums, golf courses look like golf courses, etc. Well, I'm NOT in the those cities at all. Page 47 of the manual: Touch [Map] in the navigation menu, thentouch [Displayed Info]. The Displayed Info screen appears. City Map You can select whether to display the city map when in certain metropolitan city areas. On*: Automatically switches to the city map when in a city map area. Off: Does not show the city map. Even if you switch [City Map] to [On], city map cannot display in areas where there is no city map data. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Yeah, in my city, the detailed map shows city buildings in each city block, also I really like the view of any medians that separate roads. Water front Ports are also very detailed with docks that are visible on the map. Also, college campuses are detailed where there are green lawns and parks and fountains.
