Guest aj
The backup camera stopped working all of a sudden. I had the Z1 and backup camera for about 2 months and everything worked perfectly and tonight the screen is blank whenever the camera mode comes on. I tried it both ways, when it is in reverse and in rearview mode while Im driving, and the screen is still black. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help. :?
03Aviator
Double check ALL connections. That's the first thing I would do.
edrock200
Funny, if you bought the Pioneer one, mine stopped working this week too, about 2 months after I installed it. I've checked all my connections, it just seems to be a crappy camera. Mine comes back alive every now and again.

Just seems odd that it's going in and out.

rlith
Funny... I paid 35 bux for a cheapy camera off of ebay.. It's been through 2 units in the last year and never had a prob... Seems this is a common complaint of the pioneer cams...
03Aviator
I posted this in another thread...but it may be the reason you're having issues. It's from an Acura site. Go to post # 15. This is what they are doing to cure your exact same problems: http://tl.acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=137415

skicrave
I don't think it has been confirmed that moisture is what causes the Pioneer camera to fail, but if that's the case, sealing it off seems to fix the issue with Wendy's camera all the TL guys are using.
