CNDV-700HD update

Hey all,

If I did the CNDV-700HD update would that kill my ducatiboy bypass?

 

Wanted to update the maps as i havce a March 06 unit, but I don't want to go through the hassle of doing the other bypass.,

 

Any ideas?

Then does it just make sense to do the z1 to the z2 hack?

 

that CNDV-700HD will only update the map correct? The Z2 upgrade will update the map, as well as the other new features of the z2 correct?

The CNDV-700HD is the Z1 to Z2 update, whether you do it with that disk from pioneer or from the hacked files online, it's all the same update, you end up with the same exact end point.

I have a 1st generation Z1 that was upgraded to 2nd generation via the BT update CD. I did the 2 wire bypass and the unit works great.

 

I'm looking at updating the maps using the CNDV-700HD;

Does it also make my Z1 a Z2?

Is my bypass going to be disabled if I do that?

I have XM Navtraffic, BT and iPod modules installed, are they still going to work?
