tonysil
I have an iPhone 3G running the latest software and it does not charge the unit. I have had a G5 Ipod Video hooked up to it forever and it worked flawlessly so I was wondering if if should be charging the phone or not. I read that previous versions were, so what is the current word? Am I doing something wrong?
jlong1987
You need to buy a special connector to charge the 3G iPhone, and the newest iPods w/ the D3 there is a post about it in the iPhone/iPod section

ccjrm
Has anyone actually got the adapter (Scosche passPORT) to work on the D3 with the newer generation ipods or iphone 3g? I spoke to someone from Pioneer and they said it's the deck that doesn't support the new way of charging the newer generation ipods and iphone 3g. I myself purchased the adapter for my D3 and it got rid of the annoying message but it still doesn't charge.
zzricezz
Is it possible to bring up the keypad once I make a call using the D3? When I call a place that need me to enter an extension I can't do it with-in the D3 system.
