HiFiSi
4.- A toggle button to switch quickly between the Nav screen and the current Audio Source. 5.- The ability to adjust the angle of the screen, even if only manually (like a manual side view mirror). 4. If you're listening to audio, hit the MAP button, it goes to nav. If you're in nav, push the volume knob. It switches back to the audio source. 5. WHY???
Rescuer
a garage door opener feature would be nice
knight20
Just crossed my mind while looking through the custom background thread. I want the D4 to shuffle background images everytime it turns on and be able to display animated .gif files.

I'll try the volume nob thing, though personally I think I'd still prefer a toggle button. As for the angle adjustment on the screen, it can mean the difference between a screen that is illegible due to glare and one that can be read.
djmixmac
Just crossed my mind while looking through the custom background thread. I want the D4 to shuffle background images everytime it turns on and be able to display animated .gif files. I'm thinking the Pioneer Lawyers said no-no to the adding animated backgrounds because they can serve as a potential distraction while driving. Being a Z1/Z2 owner, I would also like to see volume of the guidance voice be adjusted to according to the vehicles speed. Its really a simple firmware update, so hopefully pioneer has a crack research team (or a research team on crack) fixing this and other issues.
bpolen
For me IPOD info on the Map screen only shows up when I force the next song not when it changes on its own. Is there a setting for this. Any clarification would be great.
Yettavr6
It would also be nice if when using bluetooth, the signal and battery meters would show in the upper corner no matter what source you are on(even if it's just when you "hide") Currently it only shows while on a call or when the BT-Tel source is selected. GT17V
the only real gripe I have thus far is the "Driver View" is useless. A nice birds eye view like the Z2 would be nicer. maybe, steal a nice feature from the Eclipse nav units.... split screen view with both sides be able to adjust the zoom. It was a feature I liked on my cousin's 04 Camry with the nav system
bradpaulp
a feature that I would really like to see is the ability to show song information (even if it's very small and only the artist and title of song) on the navigation map screen. Every time the song changes while I'm viewing the map, the track info pops up on the bottom of the screen. hmmm really ? on mine , the track only comes up on the bottom of the screen when I change it myself ... when it changes by itself it shows nothing ! grr .
