palacios
I'm not sure if this has already been brought up but I did a search and didn't find anything about it so here it goes. Pioneer has an update for our Z1's CDDB! I just so happened to be snooping around the Pioneer website when I spotted it. All you do is download the ZIP file, extract it, and burn it to a CD-R. ducatiboy
Now, has anyone done this update and verified that the flashing bypass still works?
BigFloppy
Now, has anyone done this update and verified that the flashing bypass still works?
You're the circuit master, I may be the one with the big balls, but they're not that big! You go first!
palacios
By looking at the extracted files, it appears that all the file names have "CDDB" in the name which should have no affect the bypass. I have the balls to do it I just have to wait till I get home to try it.
03Aviator
I gotta tell you Steve....that's what has me nervous about any updates. But I think Pioneer wants a bypass out there. It sells units. Quite honestly, I wouldn't have bought one if it couldn't be done. I'd have gone with some other system.

docluv01
Hey guys, I'm not sure if you realize, but I think this is a breakthrough. Basically giving you an entry to copy files onto the hard drive. I'm assuming all this does is overwrite the original database. What do you guys think?
