Guest dmitri
Maybe this is the wrong forum, but does anyone know if Z1 HDDs are interchangeable? If so this might not really be a problem.. :P -dp
Navyguy
How did you guys get the upgrade to work? I have tried two different CDRs and they do not work. It just stops on CD-ROM injected. I used Roxio to burn the CDR.

The cd has to be finalized, if it's not the update will probably fail. Look around your program for the Disc-at-once settings and make sure that its set to finalize. Hope that helps. bongus
The directions stated not to create folders...just burn the files onto the disk.
ducatiboy
They also say to burn it in Joliet mode. Some times the file format of a cd rom can be joliet and windows mode. I know you can change it in nero, but I'm not sure how to do it in roxio, but I'll bet you can.

rockhardnupe7
Now, has anyone done this update and verified that the flashing bypass still works?
It is just an update that does take 20 min. you are able to turn the car off and it will simple start were it left off. And it does not effect Ducatiboy's circut.
ducatiboy
Finally getting around to updating it. It will take 20 minutes and since that would kill my commute tomorrow morning, I'm doing it in the driveway. Of course since the Z1 draws 2 amsp, and I don't want to kill my battery, I'm running it off a battery charger while it's sitting there.
ducatiboy
Yah! It works and so does my flasher! Pretty cool.
