IvanRaide Posted December 10, 2007 Report Share Posted December 10, 2007 For mute, what I do is hit the select button twice (rapidly), this moves the D3 from MAP (where I have it normally) to BT-Phone which cuts off the sound. I know its not an 'ideal' solution but it works pretty well actually. From that point, 3 taps takes me back to iPod, so it starts playing again, (once you know the taps for your system and train yourself on it, it becomes 2nd nature). If he's listening to FM radio, and he accidentally switches over to another source that has the SLA turned all the way up, it's probably going to be loud enough to destroy his speakers.
