Jason, is there any way that you can verify what SD card types the unit will support? Does it support SDHC cards?

Posted Jun 03, 2008 · 00:32 UTC#102

Yep, SDHC up to 32GB according to the other thread.

Bluetooth is build into all of the AVIC F Series unites, the XM tuner is still an IP-Bus add on.

Hi all,

Thanks for the review and the pics. I just purchased a new Tundra and wanted a nice bluetooth / dvd / nav unit and I found this F series just before buying the other Pioneer Nav system. So my question is this, I noticed a GPS connection on the back of the unit, is a GPS required for the nav system to work? If so how much are they about? If not whats the need for the GPS?

Thanks!

Sean

Oh P.S. Where is everyone going to get their 90BT from? Any suggestions for a good back up camera?

Posted Jun 03, 2008 · 04:21 UTC#110

Yes, you have to connect the GPS antenna to the back of the deck

Posted Jun 03, 2008 · 04:23 UTC#111

Uhh wow.

The GPS is built in. The connector you see is for the antenna, which is included with the unit.

Wanna provide a clue on what vehicle you drive? Kinda important when determining which adaptor

JASON....

I read the comparison on US site...it didn't say anything about changing BACKGROUND picture....

Did you test it out on F90BT?

Thanx

Jason, What about a bypass? Any idea on when you may look into this?

I have a 2002 Cadillac Escalade, does anyone know the best way to install the F90BT without having to cut it too much?

Does this require a special IPOD cable or do you just plug it in to the USB port? Im trying to get all the extra options ready for when it comes out but I am having a hard time figuring out what extras I have to buy that are specific for this unit. I want the back up cam, sirius adapter, and ipod hook up. If I go out and buy them now, will they all work with this unit when it comes out? Im pretty sure the camara and sirius adapter will work, but not sure about the ipod plug. Any help would be great. Thanks.

As stated many times before, you need the Pioneer iPod Cable. If you connect USB, it will only pull the song info, not the actual audio.
