ITouch Ipod-do you know if this will work with this system?

Escalade install just remove black plastic behing head unit, and the F should slide in perfect with the double din kit 99-2003 metra. I have pics of my escalade up in another thread. Just type escalade in the search bar

for only $34.99 you can have the bypass instructions. Sweet!

Wow.. From the auction: "Its way better and different than the one available on Interment."

That damn interment is always screwing folks over...

Will this work on the F90BT as well on the override?

Shot of the sound setting screen, don't know how I missed it in the video, lol

Pitty that, according to the manual, the dynamic volume only applies to the voice prompts...

Hey, I know a better deal. Wait for it to come out or maybe sooner and get it on here for free.

I just looked through all 115 pages and couldn't find where this was detailed. Can you describe what this function is supposed to do? I'm guessing it sets the level of voice prompts relative to the overall volume of the music.

Is there a pdf of the operations manual yet? I'd be interested in reading it and I suspect it would eliminate a lot of simple questions.

many thanks for the link. should answer most questions.

A+ for a QWERTY keyboard!!! best new feature!

I'll miss the button press map<->AV source switch from the D3 though.

According to the manual, page 102:

Dynamic Volume

Increases and decreases the master

volume of the navigation guidance and

beep automatically according to the current

speed. This function is very helpful when

you are driving at high speed and there is

too much noisy to hear the guidance

instructions and beep.

Yes! Thank you jwq! That is one of the biggest issues I had with my Z2.

As long as the route guidance works better than the Z/D, I think Pioneer has addressed all of the little UI/functionality issues with the F-Series.

GREAT FIND!

I saw somebody posted a message saying you could use an SD card up to 32Gb. However, in the 900BT manual it says:

SD

Compatible physical format - Version 2.00

Max capacity memory - 8Gb

File System - FAT16, FAT32

Decoding format - MP3/WMA/AAC/WAVE/MPEG4

On page 59 of the user manual, the thing also reads text messages aloud using text to speech.

I know you can switch between the splash screens but does it allow you to import a custom one?

My girlfriend has a new Ford with Micorsoft Sync in it and after watching the video I've come to realize that this new series is based on Sync.

Pioneer makes the head unit for the new Fords with Sync

It also says it DOES NOT support SDHC, which is a big downer. I thought non SDHC cards only came in sizes of 2gb maximum.

You are mistaken.

Just a few examples of what's out there.

I just feel obligated to point out that your 3 referenced links are for CF (compact flash) cards, not SD (Secure Digital) cards. They are different. And it is true that Standard SD maxes out at 2GB. You need SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) to exceed 2GB. The United States Manual for the 900BT says it supports a max of 8GB SDHC (aka version 2.0)
