I remember GTIMatt's data.zip had one. All this coding is marked in the data.zip. There might even be some code on that thread. Happy reading.

Posted Oct 19, 2009 · 09:14 UTC#152

My Last update had that and is based upon GTImat's mods.

If you press the icon in the lower right it jumps you to the TMC screen.

You might also try the poi's in that release as they have heaps of location updates over the pioneer ones including all the petrol stations and fast food outlets

When I get a V3 testbed running I will check what's missing from the new files and update them.

Hey i downloaded most of the well known fast food chain POI's like McDonalds, KFC, Hungry Jacks, Subway, etc.... and i put them through AVIC Feeds and they converted fine, i exported them onto my SD card and my unit read them fine, but so how do i transfer them over to my unit so they stay there?

Because basically they were there temporarily when i put the SD card in, and when i took them out, well they obviously weren't there.

Thanks

To the members who sent me stuff after my last request, Thank you very much

I hope to have my V3 test bed up and running before the weekend.

I can also confirm SUNA activation can generated and no you cant use the codes from another unit as they are tied to your serial and model number. I am going to release this in way that does not expose how it is done for the simple reason that I don't want this shut-down. Hard lessons learned with other popular things using smartcards

How this will work is you will go into the TMC settings screen. If TMC is detected but no key is present you can click on the TMC status and you will get a new screen for TMC activation. I will make a V3 and V2 update for this. V2 will be an updated data.zip only. V3 will be an update for those (like me) awaiting the official update.

To that end I need some help from a members with a few things

1. Some more V3 Licence files (\My Flash Disk\APL2\iGo\LICENSE\[email protected]_(SE,_TMC)_2009-03-11_NN747.lic) Please don't attach these PM me a location

2. A member that has has not updated the V2 maps from the OEM ones to confirm something for me.

Can you download the files below from http://www.4shared.com/dir/14084405/70e ... pdate.html

V20a_Update.part1.rar

V20a_Update.part2.rar

V20a_Update.part3.rar

V20a_Update1.rar

Extract the V20a_Update files to your SD card

Extract the V20a_Update1 files to your SD card overwriting any of the first ones

Delete the directories

\Update\APL2\Igo\CONTENT

\Update\APL2\Igo\LICENSE

\Update\APL2\Igo\EZRIDER.EXE

\Update\APL2\Igo\SYS.TXT

Follow the instructions posted at the beginning of this thread to install but,

This will apply the Igo mods but not update the maps.

Once you are in go into the TMC settings screen,

Wait for the tuner to lock on to a TMC source

PM me what it says in the brackets, it will be CA-TMC (?????)

Thanks

Bluetooth Fix: Boot into testmode and delete the file "My Flash Disk\USER\UserData\iGo\save\msnd"

If present it kills the bluetooth. It's a good idea to add the bluetooth patch as well after that

Hey thanks for the reply.

I have deleted the msnd file as instructed with no success.

Where can i find the bluetooth patch so i can try that?

thanks,

It was on the pioneer eu site if you search on the board will probably find it as well.

If you are really stuck I can get it from a backup

I have uploaded a VMware image of the AVIC emulator to 4shared, dowload the files from

http://www.4shared.com/dir/14084405/70e ... pdate.html

The image runs microXP and has installed

AVIC emulator for V2 Firmware

AVIC emulator for V3 Firmware

Winrar

ExamDif

VNC

VMtools

The Nic is set to DHCP so if you need a static IP just set that in microXP

It has VNC server installed if you want to use remote access

You will need VMplayer or VMworkstation to use the image, download this from VMware website

VMtools allows you to access loacl drives on your pc (use the shaed folders feature)

For V2 Firmware

1. Make a backup Copy of your AVIC

2. Copy all the files below "My Flash Disk" to c:\AVIC\My Flash Disk.2

3. Run "EmulatorV2.bat" on the desktop

For V3 Firmware

1. Make a backup Copy of your AVIC

2. Copy all the files below "My Flash Disk" to c:\AVIC\My Flash Disk.3

3. Run "EmulatorV3.bat" on the desktop

Both will correct the backups each time you load the emulator. This will

1. Install the correct EZrider and License file

2. Remove the basemap.fbl from \apl2\igo\content\maps

Cheers

Did Pioneer Australia finally release the new map/3.0 upgradE?

http://www.pioneer.com.au/en/Help%20Cen ... mware.aspx

I see that there's a mapping upgrade download avail...which you'll need to enter your serial number and the mapping disc code. Any one knows if this is 3.0?

they have but at this point you can only buy it from pioneer spare parts bye ringing them i did cost me 270 not sure why they are not adertising it

Posted Nov 12, 2009 · 03:30 UTC#168

Hang on...now they're selling them from Pioneer spare parts for $270?? and people buying them are receiving them straight away?

What the hell? I'm assuming that the only people who need to buy the upgrade will be people who bought the headunit after the "free" upgrade promotion finished(July/Aug 2009).... so they're supplying the people who are willing to pay extra for it? What about the people who bought this unit like a year or more ago, and have been patiently waiting for this delayed update...they just get left in the lurch?

I understand its all about making money and whatnot, but if they're withholding upgrades from the ones who've been waiting for this upgrade because of shortages, then thats a bit crap...

I was told, so don't blame me if it does not happen, all but he last 50 were shipped today and the rest will go out next week.

Btw My update is one of the 50

I just phoned Pioneer and was told that they are "hopefully" expecting another shipment and that I should receive the update by end of next week. I'm just going to keep phoning because it's really starting to annoy me that they are taking so long.

Well i received my updated maps SD cards today, Updates the software to version 2.10000, went to upgrade maps and such.., but you need to enter your device id into the pioneer site & a code they supply with the sd cards

Problem is the site says the device id isn't registered, anyone else have this problem?

Mine too by the look of it! We've only been waiting nearly a year! Maybe they sent them out alphabetically because my surname is right down the end of the alphabet. :( Pioneer told me it was first come first serve but people who have only had the unit for a few months have already received theirs.

Mic18u I guess you mean 3.10000. Anyway what's the wetsite address you are using to activate it? If you go here http://www.pioneer.com.au/en/Help%20Cen ... mware.aspx then select F900BT, there is now a listing like this.

AVIC-F900BT software upgrade

AVICF900BT mapping software upgrade

Password authentication for the CNSD100FM Navigation upgrade disc for the AVICF900BT

Please read the instructions included in the CNSD100FM before commencing.

And when you click download it goes here https://www.pioneer.com.au/unlockcodeCN ... nDisc.aspx and asks for device number and media number. Is this the same site that you are trying to unlock yours on?

Yeah...I also received my SD cards. Went through the process until I got on to the website and entered the device number and media number only to find that the device isn't registered......NOT HAPPY!

Will call Pioneer tomorrow and advise if I make any progress...

Has anyone actually got through the entire process and have a fully updated system???

Posted Nov 23, 2009 · 13:13 UTC#174

Sorry, didn't read the previous post very well.

On the Pioneer website you go to the "downloads & Manuals" under the Help Centre and enter the F900BT details in search for product...which takes you to;

https://www.pioneer.com.au/Help%20Centr ... mware.aspx

AVICF900BT mapping software upgrade

Password authentication for the CNSD100FM Navigation upgrade disc for the AVICF900BT

Please read the instructions included in the CNSD100FM before commencing.

When you click on the above link you go to.....

https://www.pioneer.com.au/unlockcodeCN ... nDisc.aspx

Create your password

Enter your product device number: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Enter your disc media number: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Loading Please wait, your unlock code is being retrieved

The Device Number is not registered

and without this information you can't finish installing the maps on SD card 2.

According to this thread viewtopic.php?f=32&t=29141 they had the same problem and Pioneer Aus told them to activate using the Euro website. Might be worth a try.

Typical Pioneer Australia. They are about as useful as a chocolate teapot!
