Wherever Visual settings are, I haven't looked at the code for this one yet.

Can you tell me a place to look? I currently use a mod that does not tilt by degrees degrees in a corner near horizon.

I have a rebooting problem after updating the new version. The first time I installed it, it worked fine but then after turning it off then back on again, it kept rebooting itself. I have tried to delete the save files in the log and it did not help. Appreciate your help.

 

Strange... should work, particualrly if it did work the first time. You could try rolling back to previous version...

I had the same problem.It kept rebooting at startup so I reinstalled my old data file.

Strange. I checked it yesterday and it seems to generally work fine (I have a problem of having absolutely no free space of the flash drive right now, which does create issues).

Can you check how much free space you got on the My Flash Drive? If it is too low, it could lead to problems due to lack of memory...

David.I have tried the above,but the emulator still crashes when it gets to loading languages.If I then delete all the data in the save folder,it will restart.However it will then go through the same sanario on restarting the second time.

+ 2D head-up in in overview mode. Turned on in Settings->Visual->Zoom control->Use 2D headup. Turned on by default

 

+ Shows adjustable zoomscale in 3D mode. Dragging the zoomscale changes map zoom, just like in 2D.

 

+ When navigating, if Show NextInfo is tuerned off, top bar is not displayed.

For what it's worth, I have significantly improved my system's stability by freeing up more space on the flash disk (there are TTS software files that can be safely removed since they do not correspond to any voice we have available).

The announce of left/right destination is separate from the data.zip. A new entry does need to be added in the sys.txt as well as having a compatible tts file.

September 25 is the latest version for firmware 2.x.

November 11th (09-11-2009, writing the date in the order nature intended) is the latest version for 3.x firmware.

DIGITAL.TTF goes to the same folder as DATA.ZIP

This is an iGO skin only. It does not include color schemes, SYS.TXT changes, or anything like that. To use, say, N-S-E-W's street side enhancement, you need to d/l his voice file and make the change in SYS.TXT as he instructs.

L just deleted a couple of the language files such as ESP and France. Kept the Us file. I was trying to free up more space as it was not starting before.

Just wanted to say thanks to you and others for answering my questions. Thanks so much all.

I clicked on the data.zip link on the first page and got the old version. Thanks for the info for the right one. I am running the official 3.02 software.

The left/right destination announce sounds like it should work with Samantha, which is the voice I use. I have not tried this mod yet but may try it soon.

I just finished loading Diaftia's hybrid mods, which include most of the same things, and yes I did a full My Flashdisk backup first. I even have My FlashDisk saved on my laptop and on 2 drives on my main PC.

I will have to do a few mods to get things just the way I like but at least I have some great mods to start with. I have waited months because I wanted to see how these mods progressed and what my final decision would be. Also I have not wanted to invest much time in my own modding yet.

It will create problems if you delete language files for voices that came standard on your country's model. I.e., deleting French and Spanish TTS files on the US model will kill Tel.exe (Bluetooth phone connector), even if you do not use them...

If everything does work, including the bluetooth system, then don't worry too much, just make sure you don't switch to the voice that's not there any more...
